Yes, you are all right, that is where the discount comes in, from the hippo vendors themselves. This is true, if the discount would not have been active with the vouchers, I wouldnt have lost money. I see where you are going with this. It does seem to be a flaw with the system.

I still hope you put in a ticket. I don't know how many people took the same route and bought hippogift, but it needs to be addressed.

I bought it, but haven't found the time to update all my vendors to version 2 - luckily, as I see now... I think I'll give it some months until the weirdest security threats are found.

I wrote my own gift voucher system, and while doing so, I did find out there were ways to game it, so I wrote some safeguards in it to exclude most the those cases, and I haven't had any problems with it yet.

Maybe Andy didn't think about those same cases...

Yes, Cristalle, I have always used the "buy as gift" button, also. But I've had a lot of customers who could'nt figure it out, or it just didnt work for them, and requests for gift cards. So, I decided to try it.

Yummy, CCTV Giant makes a gift card system...give him a shout and tell him what you need.
