AnnDee's at Rhee has nice men's clothing too and gives away a new freebie once a month.

Does anyone know where to get a '40's style suit and hat? I might want to go swing dancing in the near future.

Rebel Hope has this in the costume theater: http://www.second-man.com/newish-bugsy-suit-rebel-hope-designs.html

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

I want to say I saw one at 1-800-Betties...

I remember seeing a suit there, and it was a nice one, but I can't remember if it was 40s or maybe slightly earlier.

Nona Hedges would count as pretty exclusive

since its very pricey.

When an outfit goes for 1k , you aren't going to see many people who own it.

A few of my favorites that haven't been mentioned yet: Relax, Dan Senyurt for shirts (look him up and see his Picks for the store), Redgrave, FNKY for jeans and shoes, Armidi, Style Starts Here (Simone's new store with excellent men's clothes and VERY low prices; all shirts come on three layers and include a gap-filling underwear layer), Adam n Eve for the double-breasted suit (though I like Blaze's shirts and ties with it more than what comes with the suit).

Jackets were mentioned above: Those with Blaze's suits are my favorite. SF Designs has a nice jacket that includes non-flexi and flexi jacket bottoms on the skirt layer. The flexi version looks extremely good while you're standing still, but it's too flexi when you move. In any case, the best shirts to wear with a jacket for a "business-casual" look without a tie are Senyurt's.

Devilfish Men's Mall on Dahlia Island - a whole mall dedicated to men from big names like Sidewalk, BMC, Eros to new and up coming designers. Clothing prices vary from newbie accessible to high class expensive stuff.

Everything from thongs, clubwear, jeans and tees to formal and theme clothing (gor, togas, gangsta to name a few) shoes, jewellery, the mall is always looking for more menswear companies to come and take a store because the guys in the Devilfish group love to shop!

It ain't laggy because there's no camping..Real shoppers all the way. There's also a big range of skins, shapes, eyes and hair available on the island. The skin designers are of particular interest because they're fresh, hand drawn so you'll look unique. There's some hairy skins too so you don't have to look so baby faced ;-)

The place was created by gay men who lurrrve to look good, so you get a lot of good quality names at the mall.

Another tip - if you ever want exclusive undies IM Butch Adzebills, his store (gbstyle) and his taste is super!

I found this place much more easily when I spelled it "Nonna" ;) ... but I don't think it has a men's department. I'm sure I'd look stunning, cross-dressed in the Madame Pompadour Pink Brocade gown... might even improve my luck at the clubs, too. ;)

Question for men's clothing designers: Is it necessary that non-prim belt buckles come only in a weirdly distorted trapezoidal shape? Maybe this looks normal on an avatar with a huge belly, but they sure look strange on the model photos. And it's pretty much universal. Or have I missed a (particularly unfortunate) RL fashion trend in belt geometry?

OOPS about the spelling

Yes, definitely Women's fashions only!

Whether its worth the 1k an item is probably debatable but some of the stuff really is pretty.

Try Aitui and Renegade. Oh, and Armidi has nice menswear too.

I've done so before, but I'll second Renegade. Their shirts in particular have distinctive graphics that are somewhat grunge, somewhat gangster, somewhat futuristic... hard to describe, but good-fitting and inexpensive. Theirs are what I keep putting back on no matter what else I change into.

I have found the same. Been looking for some time and that's the best I have found. You can find well made sets here and there.

Really, I would also try Bare Rose. Yes... they may be low cost but that has nothing to do with the time and talent spent to make the outfits. You can spend 2k and end up with just about every male outfit. They come with so many parts and options that mixing and matching with other outfits really comes in handy.
