From: Jig Chippewa 4 Maybe I'll get nostalgic for some things but computers are just glorified typewriters so you cant really get warmly involved in a piece of plastic and tiny spot welding. I migth as well fall in love with a steam iron.
But dont mind my interruptions. Just carry on...jig unzips her jeans and get ready for bed. Aaaaaahhhh, young Padawan! If its "just glorified typewriter" to you, then you aren't using it to the full potential. As for the Jeans.... Pics or it didnt happen!!

From: Argent Stonecutter Luxury!
The original Altair came with 256 bytes of RAM (that's 256 bytes, not kilo or mega), for $500 assembled. A 4k memory board was another $400. My parents wouldnt buy me an Altair. I begged for one, promised all kinds of things... but they saw computers as a "fad". Still do. HEH! I remember the Nun in High School telling me my "future job" as a programmer was pointless as "Programmers do not make more than $20,000 a year". LOL!!! There's a Nun out there, somewhere, who's gonna get punched when I see her!!
