No offense taken. I suppose I do have a tendency for one upmanship, sometimes It's hard to keep my competitiveness in check. :) I could post my returns, but it would be rather unenlightening to the state of my SL affairs, I have never pulled a cent out. When it comes to keeping SL and RL seperate, I think that's especially true where the IRS is concerned. When the day comes and I decide to make SL my full time job, that will have to change, but for now, I think i'll veer left declare you winner of this game of virtual chicken ;)

Nah, I won't accept 'winning' - that wasn't the point. I'm sure you are a great landlord and a great person, and have your bases covered.

I didn't cash out for ages either - about a year - but after a while I had to:
1) justify my time spent on my hobby, and,
2) if I didn't I'd have well over 30,000 USD of credit sitting on my SL account by now. Which isn't the greatest idea.

Might sound like a lot, but for anyone in the land business as long as I have, it's really not much. Especially compared to what could be made. So yeah, I had to sit down with the CPA and work out taxes last year.

I'm not keen on letting SL take over my first life either, hence Caledon is gonna be done in about another six regions or so.
