It's the, um, mechanics of these things that has me sort of curious. And whether having them controlled is really better than just . . . um . . .

Only one way to find out........I don't see the difference in having it 'controlled' remotely by your SL lover or controlled up close and personal by your RL lover. I mean, if it's the 'control' factor you're worrying about.

Really? I do. An RL lover is there, on the spot (so to speak), judging your responses live and in person, and reacting accordingly. An SL lover has to wait for you to type or voice what you want, which isn't NEARLY as much fun as "showing" it in other ways. Plus, there's an inevitable delay before you actually GET what you want, which would tend to throw me, anyway, off my stride a bit.

Interesting concept . . . and some interesting toys! But I am skeptical.

ummm Scylla...when you're in voice....and you hear the breathing intensify....the moaning.....a few very descriptive sounds (you don't hear in everyday conversation)....there isn't exactly any waiting around....it's pretty instant....no delays in the reaction times. someone told me that.

According to Laurin (my SL mother) Scylla is my sister but I can't see how that is possible. We are meant to be staying at Uncle Desmon's "pile" (Gormenghast, I call it) at Caledon. Scylla;s bringing her books and her term papers. She wears old lady specs also and has stripey socks. And she sucks cough drops and drinks camomile tea.
