u mean like
unable to texture more then 4 items without selecting the texture and color 100 times? unable to edit linked objects without them snapping back? textures need 10 minutes to render even if they`re small 256x256 in size? teleportings failing? rezzing errors? or just plain old fashion 5 minute lag? oh wait, that was standard, what`s breaking down? _____________________

I couldn't get in for about 10 minutes...it just sat there on the logging in page, with no error message and no movement on the progress bar.

Login worked for me again pretty quick.
Coco, it's been lousy performance for hours. I can't teleport at the moment. Folks have been having duplicated messages in IM and nearme chat. To be honest, SL is so unreliable I don't really notice it much unless it stops completely. Course I'm not usually trying to build or script much, if I was I'd be sure to notice the problems and get real annoyed. Hmm, it seems I can teleport, but only if I pick a place I don't want to go. _____________________

I couldnt get on just a few mins ago, but am now... Tried to purchase something 3 times, and it never went through. Not sure what's up, but be cautious in your shopping tonight! I would ask if anyone else is experiencing this, but I don't want anyone to go out and experiment to lose money. lol |

Reading all the above you would think these are new things happening in sl. This isn't anything new, this is the norm in sl. Maybe for you it's normal, but for the vast majority of SL users, SL has performed flawlessly every single session. Of course, most people, after a few sessions of SL, they're so rich they have to spend all their time counting and spending money, so they don't get to actually use SL personally anymore; they have to have an assistant log in to SL and give them a report on how much they enjoyed it.  SL has attained a state of perfection HAL 9000 can only dream of. _____________________

No, you're not alone. I have constant connectivity problems anyways, and logging back in over the last couple of hours has been a serious pain. Just sits there, and occasionally I'll get the "something unexpected has gone wrong" error. If there wasn't a coouple of things I really need to get done tonight I'd be elsewhere.
At one point it took me a half hour to reconnect. :/ And all my friends are missing... *cry* ... but there's always hippos... |
