Maybe there will be a bail out for SL Residents?

There is. The OS Affair caused many to bail out.

This must be "Panhandling Newbie Season" and someone forgot to tell us.

I was in world a bit earlier checking out some prefab houses. At the central tp point one of the owners and a friend were talking. The area is surrounded by the prefab demo houses.

I walk by after arriving and hear the following:

[2009/01/01 19:32] Newbie-registered-today: im very poor can i stay in home i have no money i have nothing

The bit of extra humor was Newbie was stuck on dry land in a "rowing" motion, which is finally what the owner/friend commented on.

Czari, I can't help wondering, did either you or the owner/friend help them? If they were on dry land in a rowing animation, and they were a noob, then clearly they needed some help learning how to get out of that animation.

Just curious. Enquiring minds want to know. :)

There's, uh, probably a lot of things you didn't know about lindens. Another, another interesting, uh, lindenism, uh, there are only three jobs available to a linden. The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

For the few moments I stayed in that area one of the two (owner or friend) commented on the rowing animation and said "You must have forgotten to stand up." That's all I heard and know. I'm thinking a conversation "probably" went from there, but that's just the facts, Ma`am. :)
