There are ways to get your Linden dollars easily within Second Life.

Build your female avatar out of freebies and get into the escorting business. From what I hear, you ought to be able to earn that $2500L in a week.
Add voice and web cam and that figure could likely go up drastically.

But the downside to that is, the OP may need to spend money on purchasing the tools of the business- a wig, prosthetic breasts, and voice-change software. Not cheap.

if you look at the top right of your sl screen youll see a little blue button looks kinda like this.....(L$).........push it.
