Mark me down as 'waaaay too chicken'... I spose I could show up as my broke, landless old main character though - but I just can't fathom why Des seems to attract more attention, and he's largely hated. I don't act any differently. I don't go to parties unless I get snacks. They don't have to be fancy or anything. Pizza rolls are good. Those little sausages are ok. A bowl of M&M's. Maybe some punch. I don't ask for much, but what the hell kind of party has no snacks? Frankly, it's been ten minutes since I asked about the snacks and all I can assume from the OP's silence is that he is out looking for snacks. I'm offended that he didn't think of the snacks first. Really! Inviting us to a party and not even having the decency to tear open a bag of Tostitos and crack open a jar of salsa. Sure, live music and girls are ok, but they can only get you so far, then you get hungry! Have I ever given you guys my recipe for Atomic Buffalo Turds? Best party snack EVAR! Cut a jalapeno pepper in half lengthwise and hollow out the seeds and pith, then cut off the stem. Then pipe cream cheese into it like a little boat. Mash a Little Smokey or whatever cocktail sausage you like into the cream cheese, then wrap the whole thing up with a piece of bacon. Put them into the smoker or BBQ until the bacon is crispy. Serve with plenty of cold beer. OMG - delicious. _____________________
