Fun thing is, they changed that ruile. (I'm guessing around the same time they changed the 1k bonus from being paid instantly to after 45 days.)

I've had 3 premium avatars, two are still and one I downgraded to basic after two months. All three back then received the bonus at the moment of going premium - and they ALL upgraded from basic.

Back then, you could choose to enter just your payment info during signup to at least get the 250L$ bonus for entering payment info. Now you only have the choice between basic and prem, no more inbetweens.

I'm guessing they're constantly changing their rules but keep forgetting to actually update the rules on the website. Stupid us for not reading their minds correctly. ;)

This was probably done at the time they killed the First Land program, since there were many fake alts going premium and reneging in under 30 days buying up the land and selling. Not only would they have had the 1k startup money, they took the land away from true noobs not looking to flip.

No, I joined SL way after First Land ended. I think that change was somewhere in June.

I've had payment info on my account for several weeks and never got the 250L$ bonus. Now that I've upgraded to Premium, I know I'm not getting the 1000L$, but does anyone think it's worthwhile to try for the 250L$?

I don't think you get that either, unless you entered payment info at the time of registration.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Funny thing is, at the time i registerd this account there was no link to use paypal as a payment info. Since i like many people in germany, don't have a cc how should i have used payment info when signing up?

It was only possible to enter a payment info using paypal after a couple of days when they put back paypal into the payment options.

It must be nice when only aother people have to suffer from your own incompetence ........

Get used to it.. this is how LL works.

But look on the bright side. You could have received your bonus, bought a nice L$1000 item and then lost it when SL crashed. This way you avoid that extra frustration.

Created June 11th and never got my bonus after 45 days, either.

If it isn't given out anymore (I don't know if it is, honestly, they never mentioned anything about it in the blog or wherever and it's still mentioned when signing up, so...), can they at least update the damn signup messages as to not frustrate us even more. >.<

They are definitely still giving out the bonus.

I created an alt, going premium in the process, on June 29th. I received the L$1250 bonus on August 23rd. (I believe the extra 250 was for going premium during the creation process, rather than upgrading later.)

Although I did get the bonus, if you check your calendar you will see that it was a 55-day delay... it was 10 days late. So there definitely is something wonky with their process.

The best way to deal with it is the most obvious one: submit a support ticket. Be sure to state the date you went premium, and that the 45-day waiting period has already passed. Chances are the first reply you get will be a standard reply telling you that there is a 45-day waiting period... they don't always read the first submission very carefully. But if that happens, just follow up on and restate that it has already been 45 days. If you want to spend a few minutes chatting, you can also try following up with either Live Chat or a phone call to Billing.
