Question: lets assume that a dancers public stripping in a regular club costs 500l

A guy goes into an escort club where at the same time there is one more client,
then the same guy regulary tips the dancer untill her jar have reached 600 lindens.
both the dancer and the client do not talk through im. Neither in local chat. the guy is silent. The other who was standing there guy had only tiped the dancer 50l.

Though all this tipping the dancer and since the client hadnt spoken to her , she decides to not remove her clothes

Now the question is, should the dancer strip? Even though the client hadnt ask her to do it?

A. Yes She should definetley strip that is her job and it is a standar escort policy , a clients tipping results in actions for the dancers to been seen in public. That is all about. The second guy had tipped her too. So his tip is included in the stripping procedure

B. No she didnt need to strip. The client did not ask her to do it, she was not obligged to do so. Clients tips in an escort club are exclusive and are not linked with other clients tips. If the other guy wanted her to get her naked he should have paid another 450 of his own money.

Wel, the dancer certainly should have started stripping at the first tip and communicated that in local chat or at least IM by roleplay. Otherwise I doubt the customer would tip a second time having got no indication the dancer was actually present at the keyboard, the dancer certainly has no obligation to strip completely for the second customer as they have contributed only enough for a single garment.

Yes, but only if the dancer is a furry child avatar that has not yet verified for the adult move to ursula, and is really a guy!

What is the age of consent for a weasel? :)

It depends on the clubs policy/rules, usually posted somewhere fairly obvious, but in general it is the total in the jar that counts towards removing items of clothing. Believe it or not, there are some clubs that have dancers who do not strip.

Although from your post it would appear these do, and for 500L.

It doesn't matter if the patron has spoken to the dancer at all, a good dancer will acknowledge every single tip, no matter how small it is. (and a bad dancer will ask for tips, and a great dancer will have you putting your hand in wallet and paying her more before you even know it)

Despite what people think, there is real skill in "dancing on a pole" at least if you do it well.

What a bizaare situation. What's with this silent treatment, on BOTH sides?

Maybe the client thinks the dancer's a bot? Pay the machine, she takes her clothes off?

And what about the dancer? Unless she talks to the client, she might as well BE a bot.

With the understanding that the house will change its rules as it pleases. . .

Typically, most dancers talk to the customers. At least acknowledge the tip through some sort of gesture. ESPECIALLY the ones who tip so well--They want you to come back.

Many clubs actually have their "price per garment" posted, usually around L300 per piece and tips are progressive. There may even be a time limit per garment.

Dancer does not always mean escort.

Err. . .so I hear.

Many places seem to have a value placed on stripping like when tips get to 300L top comes off 500 bra comes off.
If i am at a club i dont time at places where the girls strip

i chose part of A because it wasn't off in a room doing a private dance..
if it was on stage in front of everyone and tips can come from anyone..it's dancing for the club..
the only reason i chose part of a is because A DANCER is not an ESCORT..a dancer can be an escort but the two are not the same.

I say he should get what he asked for. Considering his silence, nothing. Tips are a gratuity for services held, not a pre-up for services expected. (^_^)y

Question:

What do the posted club rules say?

You're new, so now you have learned the hard way. When going to a club to which you haven't been previously, look for posted rules, or ask one of the dancers what the rules are.

Geeze...can you take me clubbing sometime, Dances? If I found a club where the "standard", posted or otherwise, was L$300 per garment, I'd be backstage filling out a job application...

No, you shouldn't. Just because the club charges that much, doesn't mean the dancers make that much. At L$ 300 per garment, I bet a lot of dancers spend a lot of time in an empty club making L$ 0 hoping for that one fool and his money to come in to actually make the L$ 300 tip.

For L$300, I'd just give the guy a female avatar and let him fiddle with himself. =^-^=

Well, yeah...I'd wanna see traffic figures and a few of the dancers' tax returns first...

Yeah it depends on the club rules, but typically I'd say if the limit is reached during a public dance, you strip.. doesn't matter if it's small amounts from many people or a large amount from one guy, you strip. Everyone else can see when someone buys a piece of clothing off a dancer in a RL stage dance, why is SL different? If the dancer is any good, the ensuing excitement will start a cascade as others get in on the buying off of clothing items.. just like taking turns buying rounds of drinks at the bar/pub. Honestly, the mentality of everyone who sees needs to have payed the limit is NOT the way to handle a public strip at all.

i never have seen a club yet that would tell a dancer to pay attention to the person in front of them and ignore thanks to others that were putting money in their jar..
5L or 1,000 they were treated the same if they were a crossed the room or sitting in front of me..

I AGREE
i hated that pay limit 500 or 600 or whatever total nudity thing..sometimes i would walk on stage without a stitch on or sometimes i would be fully loaded with things they could click off me..sometimes not even log into a jar and just dance and have a ball..and if someone sent me a tip i would log in drop it i there log out and keep on going..the customers loved it hahahaha

it's suposed to be fun and when people have fun is when they loved to show dancers they were having fun..i hated anything to do with taking my customers out of the fantasy or conversations... making them forget about the money was all part of it..

and what about the get dressed after your jar reached so much..ya right lol
i would never do that stupid get dressed after you reach a certain amount..i couldn't do that to anyone..now if things slowed down and people were not in front of me i would go dress..but never tell them i'll brb and then come back fully clothed..to me that was cheap..

Dancing was about fun and feeling sensual and sexy..if it's about the money i would have worked more hours at my rl job lol :D
although the money was pretty good still hahahaha

I agree with everyone saying it depends on what the club rules are. The dancer got tipped up to 600 and didn't say anything? That's pretty odd. It could mean her tipper is the strong and silent type.

probably silent in general chat..it is easy to get caught up in the IM's and miss who did tip the jar..that was one thing i did like about the green chat saying someone paid you..you could scroll back and see who it was..if you get alot of tips at one time those blue drop down windows can cover each other up and you miss the name real easy..
so it may have been something as simple as her thinking it was the guy she was talking to already..

it's been awhile since i have danced so i forget the little things like that :o
