I like She's So Unusual Shoes. Bought my hubby a pair of platform boots with goldfish in the base. She makes some great shoes for both men and women. I own quite a few pairs and she has a booth at the shoe expo!

My favourite shoes come from Truth (Newtown Wedges ... as yummy as their colours), Armidi, Kitties Lair, SLink, Urban Bomb Unit, ShinyThings for being cute and having a fine male selection, Periquit (sp?) again with yummy colours, Hoorenboek or whatever they are called are stunning especially if you look at their prices and last but not least :69:.

I really don't fancy the prim toe ones, maybe it's just me...

Well, the women rule of course, but I did see some for men here and there.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Hello, has anyone heard of any classes on shoe-making. I took on for flip-flops at TUi, but haven't seen any others.

SKG Shoes... they do a L$5 offer every week, and the shoes are lovely quality.

Also AC (Aphrodite Creations) for some really funky colours and styles.

Seriously? There are worse shoes in SL, but IMO Minx isn't anywhere NEAR the top of the spectrum, in either style or construction.

They've got a few pairs I like the look of, but I won't buy them since they don't come with an unscripted option...I don't understand why some creators insist on forcing walk sounds, bling, and/or AOs on consumers. Yes, you can generally turn them off, but if I'm never going to use those functions, why would I want to have to mess with them in the first place? Or drag around useless scripts which may be contributing to lag?

The Resident Question is..

Who are the popular shoe designers in SL? Particularly for male avatars.

I have many pairs, but only because I went through quite a few before I found decent shoes. FNKY's shoes (several pairs) and my Akeyo Converse-style sneakers are my favorites.

and of course you are entitled to your opinion but me, my friends, and many other people respectfully disagree. including many fashion magazines and blogs which is where i first found out about minx. i supose its a matter of preference in style choice. all shoes are not everything for everyone. i noticed your chosen favorites of shiny things, fnky and detour and though they are beautiful textured and constructed, they arppear to be a bit more conservative and sophisticated in style whereas minx appears to be more youthful, playful and flirty which is more my style and girls my age. not to saying your old lol, just saying maybe diferent shoe designs and styles cater to diferent groups and style prefrences. IMO they also lag far behind in creativity of design variety that minx does. minx boots especially are second to none imo. dont get me wrong i love all shoes including the ones you mentioned as your favorites. i just like minx the best and i can say so without having to go out of my way to single out and knock another persons taste in shoes in the process. you also criticised the persons who said they like stiletto moody and skg which are also pretty shoes imo. why not just say the shoes you prefer without having to criticise what other peole like in the process. we all love our shoes and all have diferent styles that impact our likes and preferences in shoes. live and let live sounds like a good moral to this story.
