well i had noticed i was having email problems with my island, so I set it to restart, and tried to TP to the next sim, the TP failed horribly, and I was booted out. Couldn't log back in, and now I see 77k ppl online... sounds wierd. If there really are that many online, that would explain a lot.

somthing is very wrong .
1 , Inventory opens ..but no folders . 2 ,Cant chnge anything in apperence 3 , Ruthed even after mulit login's 4 , Lag spike's all over the grid ( even on known lag free sims ) Today might be a bit rough kid's  _____________________

Someone told me about 10 min ago it was reading 87k. I suspect some kind of clone attack or something. but just a guess.

The number has now dropped to 74,087 but I suspect it is a bug unless there is a parallel grid that they are now counting. Do they have a Chinese version of the game out?

if someone was logging on libSL clients that don't draw a lot of resources, they could probably pile on this many before the grid would start to cave under the weight. It's certainly not normal uses, just couldn't happen.

If I didn't know better it seems to me like it might be some kind of DOS attack if that's at all possible, like 50,000 log on attempt requests? Don't know but anything is possible.

There has been a whole slew of griefing attacks in my area (Chaska) recently so SL is attracting a strange bunch (not including me or my partner of course).
