From: Couldbe Yue still no email. but considering in theory they could be sending out somewhere between 2 million and 16 million emails I can see them staggering it to make sure they don't get listed for spamming That is what they seem to be doing. My older account got it yesterday and another today. Not that they are actually doing anything about the policy after the zindra mess. If they were, how could I still get *any* hits if I did a PG search on, oh, 'freesex'?

From: Darkness Anubis I do believe if I was the owner of the Cat in that Misunderstaning picture I would be going to bed wearing a cup for a good long time. The look on that felines face does not bode well. Cats get even very well. Don't try this at home.

lol...just got my "New AO Policy for Second Life" email. I've arrived!
Like others, I still don't understand why the heck they're using "AO", though. sheesh.

From: Argent Stonecutter I like how it references a wiki page I started as official documentation. "Just call me... Argent Linden..." And that I'm currently maintaining (these days mostly just updating the adult region counts, but in the past keeping the schedule updated) I have had live chat support quote back stuff I wrote on that page, I found that very amusing. /me waits for them to start referencing the User's Manual I've been working on.

I expect them to deal with it at about the same rate as land cutting and camping - slowly. The reason I expect that is it's the same people doing the enforcing.

From: Quacken Nightfire So why not use it in mail subject? *rolls eyes* Because anything with adult in it is highly likely to land in spam folders everywhere.

Same here with the 'AO' thing. I thought it was about animation overrides. Why couldn't they just put 'adult content', in full.
I thought this whole adult content mess was over and done with already, didn't expect an email. This measure will force me to put payment info on file. I tried tping to a friend's club a few nights ago and couldn't. This whole thing is really a move to please SL watchdogs, like the gambling ban and VAT implementation were. If you're in SL, you're supposed to be an adult anyway.

Then sank when I realized it had nothing to do with the possibility that non-human AV's, and our AO's weren't getting our own continent built yet Tinies and "Animal Oriented" Avatars' Unite! Fight the Tyranny, and Demand a Continent that we can truly call Second Life!
