Chola-inspired makeup/skin, anyone?

The lips look great, but shouldn't the eye makeup wing up at the outer corners?

still working on it, far from finished (I need to start uploading and testing on the beta grid LOL) gonna go broke if I keep doing it on the main grid

I am hand drawing in the eyeliner so it is touch and go, draw upload test ohhh draw some more etc

actually... is there really any solid way to do anything when it comes to makeup LOL (if someone likes it then in my book it is right)

you might want to check Gala or Sin Skins... a lot of this is going to be dependent on the shape as well.. Ethnicity is half shape.

You are right, hair can be a big part of the look and I'm trying all of mine. I agree the shape plays a part as well, but I'm hoping that the right makeup will help me accentuate my Mediterranean look without "slider surgery" *smile*

I did it in 4 eyeshadow colors, all the same lip color, and shaved, landing strip and full pubic hair

will be putting them for sale asap

Rha allowed me to try on a couple of in-process variations last night, it was a lot of fun. Thanks hun! *smile*.

As you can tell from her pic, the skin looks terrific and I am anxious to try out the final version...I'll post a pic of it on me later tonight.

I did find a couple of blonde hairs that went well, and I'll let you know what they are when I'm in world.

(I really like what Rha did, but there are LOTS of variations in the chola look, so I encourage anyone interested to be creative and see what they can come up with!)

I did some research on chola as I was doing this skin and there are a lot of variations... much like any makeup, it is more owner preference than anything

almost done with ads (trying to get the perfect pic without a lot of shadow but still show the true look of the skin is hard LOL)

these will be mod/copy so folks can adjust the skin tone somewhat (I like that ability in a skin)

goes against the usual transferability of my products but... well yaknow hehe

oh and before I went to watch star wars, I checked the skin and sure enough, even though I renamed them, when in edit mode they show up as the old jennifer name I was using

so I renamed them all via edit mode (but still need to update the packages)
not that it makes much difference being it is mod/copy ppl can save it with any name they like hehe

Yeah, out here that look got REAL popular for about 4 years w/ the High School grrls... the gang Latin Queens made it popular out here, grrls used ta get beat up for that look years ago in Chicago, but it's a lot "safer" now, like mohawks, etc

...1st thing I thought of when I read the OP.

...cause of how the avs are made...looks like ya might end up leavin' off somma the makeup on the outer edge, w/ thin eyebrows, would still work. The darker lipstick helps, dunno if a lotta Latina gang members still do that or whatever but it used ta go w/ REAL dark red, or black lipstick out here.

That makeup and eyebrows look takes me way back....a long way back. I wore that look RL with navy blue hair to match my USAF bomber jacket...I'll try to find pictures. I will have to get one of these skins...but I'll want purple makeup to match my hair.
