I have had things go missing from my inventory too, however they still show up as being there.. that sounds a little odd.. i suppose. what i mean is, when i try and wear said missing items, or rez missing items from my inventory I get a message that states 'cannot complete, object is missing from database' Thos are the kind of inventory missing items I hate having, because I am given a false hope thinking they are there, when they have vanished. It has happened to vases, plants, furniture, and prim parts of clothing.. Luckily when it has happened to clothign the designers have been more than happy to send me a pant flare or shirt cuff etc.
I wish we had better help sometimes, we do spend a lot of money in this game.. but I guess LL have to draw the line somewhere, with so many hundreds and thousands of people in the game, all wanting help, I can see where they need to say sorry but only for premiums right now.

From: Kaimi Kyomoon "A poll with a random sample of 1,000 people has margin of sampling error of 3% for the estimated percentage of the whole population." maybe they really wouldn't learn anything from basic account holders that they don't already know from the reports thy get from premium account holders. Not the same thing. LL is not polling every Premium member of SL until they find 1,000 people that have had loss, with useful details. They wait until people self-report, if they figure-out how...and even then they may give too little detail to be useful, or too late. Since only 7% even has the option to self-report, and only some of them have a problem, and only some of those then go ahead to self-report, and only some of them do it timely enough with enough detail...we have no idea how big a sample LL is getting. Since the problem keeps happening, it looks to me (as a programmer) that they don't have enough data yet to figure out the patterns and catch all the bugs. From: Tegg Bode So on the other hand why should other people paying over $10 per month have exactly the same privledges as basic members? I'm not asking for that. I'm asking them to allow Basics to help THEM in solving a problem that throws away RL $ of Basics, Premiums, and LL alike. From: IsabellaRosa Capalini with so many hundreds and thousands of people in the game, all wanting help, I can see where they need to say sorry but only for premiums right now. I'm not asking FOR help. I'm asking them to allow us to help THEM. And it's not "right now". They haven't alluded to any plans to ever let us submit such reports. From: Kaimi Kyomoon But they aren't helping premiums any more than they are helping basics. They are. Forgetting all the other help options Premiums get (& rightly so), some Premiums submit inventory loss tickets and do eventually get their stuff back. Or eventually result in a bug fix that gets their stuff back. In truth, I think LL should make some effort to guarantee/recover EVERYONE'S investment in SL, but for now I'll settle if they'll just allow us to help THEM solve the problem for everyone.
