"It has come to our attention that your parcel or classified contains adult keywords or has been categorized as Adult, but that it is not currently located on adult land. According to our recent changes in regard to adult content, adult content must be moved to Zindra.

Please note that once the free relocation to Zindra has completed, parcels or classifieds that contain adult search terms but are not located in adult land will no longer be visible in PG or Mature searches in the All tab. As soon as possible, please update your Classifieds or Show in Search listings so that the maturity level of the keywords matches the maturity level of the parcel. You will also need to choose a category other than Adult for your parcel, as this category has been replaced by the Adult maturity. This will allow your listings to show up properly in search.

If your parcel has commercialized adult content or services, you are entitled to land equivalent to your existing parcel(s) on Zindra -- at no charge -- if your request is received by this Friday, July 24.

After July 24, we will no longer accept any new requests for the free relocation to Zindra but will continue to process any requests that are still pending. If you have already submitted a Zindra migration request, please disregard this notice.

To submit your relocation request, please follow the steps outlined in the "How do I apply for the migration to Zindra?" section of our Details for landowners on migrating to Zindra Knowledge Base article. For more information about the land available in Zindra, please see our latest Zindra blog post.

We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Regards,

Customer Support
Linden Lab "

However they don't tell me which land they're talking about, I have got a query about a parcel but I'm 99% sure that it is a mature parcel.

I got this too. I wonder if it's a general notification letter...or something in response to an AR...or a result of their own scan of the search engine.

confuzzled...as usual.

Just spoke to Concierge and they think it's search related. I have an adult homestead so maybe something there got picked up.

I'd be miffed if I was one of the guys who have applied and been turned down and then received this.

Miffed, yes. But probably not surprised.

I got it also and am thinking I have a word or words in my land description that is flagging the search. Did LL ever decide to tell us which words were naughty? Or is it still a secret?

Thanks for following up on that and getting more info about it. Of course now I have to go throw all my classified and land descriptions with a fine tooth comb to see what is causing the problem. Oh wait, the list is not published. So I can only GUESS what may be causing the problem. Oh this party is only just getting started.

Yeah I've only got a sim and half of mainland parcels to sift through, they could at least give me a clue, even if it's just "Classifieds?" - "Colder" , "Land description?" - "Warmer"

I got one too and I'm already relocated to adult land. At the bottom it says if you already submitted a ticket to move to please disregard this notice so I'm assuming its a "form" letter mailed out to anyone who has "adult words" in a land description.

Yes, there's nothing better than being slapped on the hand with a ruler and told you are bad and not being told how to keep it from happening again!

And I'm the twisted one, right? lol

then I would suggest you put in a new ticket since they've just deemed you to be commercialised adult content and have advised you that you are impacted by the change.

and i probably wouldn't bother referencing the old ticket here.

Yep. While you're at it, please ask for all the rest of the Mosh monorail station as a swap. (I'm not kidding.)

All the tickets and emails from people refused and then hassled for adult content could come in handy to make up an ARed for adult content general defense pack.

Same email here..
07-23-2009 16:54
I just got the same email for my shop and all I can think of is that it may be one of 4 words in the description in the ads that I have already removed..well..not all of them..and if they make me remove Fantasy and Horror..well..I won't be a happy camper as it is part of my shops theme for going on 4 years now. The other two words I looked over and thought it could be was unisex and skins.

So good luck to all of you skin and avatar makers with the search..

I wonder if these Emails really do come as a result of your parcel getting ARed for something. (O.o)

I wouldn't doubt it. (T_T)

I just got this email too, and concierge chat could offer me no help in locating the parcel it is in reference to.

I went inworld and found that one of my parcels is now listed as adult. The only thing I sell or list there are shoes I made as an alt over a year ago. :/ No way on earth they would give me a Zindra swap for this parcel, but I am reluctant to manually reset the listing as non-adult until they look at my ticket.

Anyone else finding that their parcels are listed in the 'show in search' category drop box as adult when they didn't change that? Does it happen automatically?

Keywords will put your parcel in the adult category automatically yes. As they won't tell us which keywords and have changed it, it's not very helpful.

the thought of which plot of land did not cross my mind (as I am not aware of how your land is set up)

the first thing I thought of was... what word(s) were causing it to be flagged adult

so far I have not recieved any notices, but heck, who knows...

IF I do, I will be submitting a ticket to see what word(s) caused the flag

good luck to everyone caught up in this mess

If your parcel has commercialized adult content or services, you are entitled to land equivalent to your existing parcel(s) on Zindra -- at no charge -- if your request is received by this Friday, July 24.

Bother. Maybe I should've gone preium, bought land, and then put in for a swap after all, though the time would have been and gone to make the request! Not that I consider myself commercial, but I guess sticking a 5L entrance fee on my place would've seen to that. The whole thing that only commercial gets a free move, when you just *know* residents are going to be forced to deperv or buy new in the not distant future is the most sickening thing in this.

/me suspects this won't be the last such thing you'll hear from them, they need to be seen to be cleaning up the grid, and will want to be fleecing as much as possible from regular customers.

Thanks. the only keywords I suspect are peep (because there are peep toe shoes there) and school girl (because I sell saddle shoes), but I can search either of those terms without checking adult, so I am at a loss.

Not to mention the gall of the curt little note on the log-in page - 48 hours to submit your application, wow. If this is the first you've heard of Zindra, or don't have the English to grasp the significance of those few words, or perhaps don't even notice the message - tough luck.

LL really is going all-out to piss off a proportion of its customer base.
