ANother good place for Euros - Taffs Bar. Regular live music events and DJs. Really vibrant atmosphere, just found this place and love it.

From: Birdy Chaffe Hi Solange. Trying these places out as and when. Went to The Pier last night. You are right. It is a friendly place. Had a good time and was made very welcome. Excellent place. Thank you. Hey great Birdy! I'm glad you had a nice time. I'll probably see you there sometime.

Another great place to try is the BoatHouse in Melanoma. Always people there at Euro hours (the owner often DJ's at UK times), great music, and very friendly people.

Sanctuary Rock was the one and only place I used to hang out when I was home during the day, music was good and there were alot of unique people there. Unfortunatly my job dosen't give me much time of late, so havn't been around much lately

Tried Sanctuary Rock last night. Great music but laggy. Hell Bop Club too - and that was good and friendly. Still trying out new places.

From: Birdy Chaffe Need to find some good clubs. Search doesn't seem to be doing it for me.
The criteria are these:
1. Not too big or laggy. 2. Good music with accessible deejay. 3. On European time between say 8pm and 1 am GMT (The US clubs are on too late really) 4. Friendly reception. (I was in a German club and a guy shouted I hate the English) 5. Any style from Trance, Dance, Disco 60's 80's etc but not Jazz, Folky or Ballroom.
Any suggestions please folks? Options 2 and 5 are mutually exclusive.

From: Cherry Czervik (and maybe some CLASSICAL evenings at some point, esp if teemed with a BDSM event ... well that works for me maybe not for you).
Hi Cherry, Though not an avowed user of BDSM acoutrements, if you have a Claasical DJ, ready to spin a little Mozart, Puccini, Mahler, and Bartok............. I would consent to a little........um........... coughs..............power-sharing. In fact now that I think of it, listenening to Mahler too intently, can make you an emotional wreck anyway, so a few whips and handcuffs may not be amiss. /me leaps from the battlements, in solidarity with Tosca.

Aside from the affinity his name has with this ... uhh ... recreation, his music is pure torture.

Any suggestions please folks? On the weekends, check out events at Carnivale Royale/Double 0's in the Cavettaz sim. Most of their events during the week are on US time, but there are early events on Friday (2:00am SL time), Saturday (2:00am and 1:00pm SL time), Sunday (1:00pm SL time) and Monday (1:30pm SL time). I haven't been there in a while (I miss my SL!) but have never found it too crowded or laggy, and the reception is always friendly. The weekend events are more likely to have DJs than the weekday ones, and though the style varies from day to day, I think the music is generally close to what you're looking for. I've also (again, it's been a while) had good experiences at the Pier and at Blackhearts, though the latter lags like crazy.
