Of course, you might expect more Lindens in world this week, with the SL5B thing and all.
But I ran into my first Linden ever last night (aside from the ones up on stage at Mentor meetings, I mean).
I blipped in to OI 1, and there was Rika Linden...or her hair and clothes, anyway. She herself took a minute to rez.
We had a nice, brief conversation, then she left to find more newbies. I ran into her again a few minutes later on OI 4.
Kudos to Rika, and to any Lindens who take a few minutes to visit SL and talk to random residents. Makes it seem like the Good Old Days the oldtimers tell us about.

When I was lurking at HIP a few months back, I saw Colton 3 or 4 times, Teeple twice, Teagan(sp), and I think Socrates.

Yay for office hours! \(^_^)/
I think I go to about 3 office hours a week if I'm not distracted. I've seen Teeple pop in to NCI a few times. I've been nearly hit with Socrates' ban hammer, and I visit his office hours the most ever since. Going there, I've met Plexus and Teagan and once saw Colton do a fly over. (^_^)
Just like my usual stalker self... I'm always doing all kinds of stuff to meet people. (=_=)y

Lesee....
I had a talk with Dusty Linden last night. She encouraged me to do more photography 'cuz she likes my stuff. She's going to come by Kids5B sometime soon. Oh, and Glenn Linden gave me his bear.
Night before I had a brief chat with Siobhan Linden before she hit her commute. She was near the main stage at SL5B. I recommended Kids5B to her. She wishes they (the Lindens) were given more of a heads up about events.
Night before that I had a long talk with Teagan Linden, who I convinced to come to Kids5B. Teagan was also at the main stage. She was worried about how Lindens might be treated there, but discovered that everyone just wanted to get a photo next to her.
Night before that Kosmos Linden sent me his "special edition" bear, and I reminded Mia Linden that it was gonna be time for a 4th of July bear soon.
I don't recall which ones come before dat, but I've met a whole lotta them in the last two years.

They can sometimes be spotted in the parts of Linden Village to the north of HIP/OIP. I've seen JP, CJ, Teeple & Joppa (both uber support Lindens), Simon, Rose, and others hanging out in their homes there..

I saw Phillip Linden once, before I knew who he was. I was once IM'd by a Linden, and thought 'no-way', well it was just to solve a JIRA problem.

Letsee, back when I was newb, I'd often see Blue Linden at the welcome area. I even saw a Torley once! Chatted with a couple of others.
Actually, I can understand how the Lindens would be nervous about being spotted in world, because of how many stupid things the company does on a regular basis. Fortunately, most of us realize that the front line Linden has just as much say in the company as the users.

Other than concierge team Lindens helping me with goofed up land transactions or the one office hour session I got to sit in on, I have only seen one, I think, just randomly around, and that was about 18 months ago around the time I just started. His name was Randy or something like that and it was at Odds & Ends.

I saw Jeska Linden at the Made Men store about 6 months ago. I said hello to her cause I recognized her not just as being a Linden, but had seen her posts quite often back when the Lindens would post in the forums... She was nice enough to say hello but our convo was brief. That was my only chance meeting of a Linden. Other times were I had seen Lindens I had expected to see them.

I've seen Blue a few times, he even came to my shop once and bought avatars from several people. Frontier Linden is in the Ryder sims a lot, I usually see him afk in the no-fly zone hole of the cornfield recreation for some reason. I've seen various other Lindens that I don't remember, usually at the village sims or helping with some problem.

I see Cogsworth Linden intermittently at live music shows. Monday night, he was dressed as the Prim Reaper, which is always a laugh. Joppa Linden is a long-time supporter of live music, but I don't run into him very often. I did happen to see him Friday night, generating a comment on my Flickr photostream that he needs a makeover.

I'll say this: Maggie, on the concierge team, has a lovely avatar. Unlike many Lindens that still look like noobs, hers is well done. She even had a little cat on her shoulder.

As was already said: Linden Village is a good for Lindenspotting. Joppa is usually sitting on his couch, GC is often out meditating, MJ is over on his balcony, and in the evenings, Twilight is in her home. I've often done fly throughs of the area while bear hunting.
Office hours, too, are always good places to find 'em. Also at some of the bigger events, particularly Linden-sponsored ones.
"In the wild" sightings are more uncommon, but if you're around long enough and wander the grid enough, you end up spottin' them here an there.

From: Macphisto Angelus This one down there in the quotes is strong in the FICfoo. Hah! I'm way too young (as in rez date) to be a proper FICer. Yer *not* the first person to assume I am, though. In fact, it's why I have the title under my name to the left.
