Auto Return Question

I have my land set to Group with a 0 Auto Return.

Yesterday, I happened to notice that someone left a windsurfer on my land. Lots of prims. Who knows how long it was sitting there, but it sure was a lot longer than 0 minutes because I'd been home for a while and no Avatars were showing up on my Mysti by the time I discovered it on the other side of my property.

Obviously, sent it back to Owner. I don't windsurf ;)

How is it that this item could be left there if my auto return is set so low? Let alone I wonder what dunce would leave such an item laying around unless they thought my land was open for all to use and she was coming back another time to hang out. Guess having a house surrounded by water is just too tempting for some people.

I've had some weird results, especially lately...

Items rezzed while wearing some other tag, but manually set to the correct group, get autoreturned.

Group listed as "Wating" in the edit window...but setting to group still works.

Items changing their permissions and/or their group status.

I haven't yet seen the very naughty behavior described by Elora...items rezzed while wearing the correct group tag getting autoreturned. But I figure it's only a matter of time.

I too have been getting some of this on my land over that last couple of days - most annoying, group deeded objects are sometimes not operable by people clearly wearing the correct group tag.
