Actually I'd build a place for me and my growing collection of Helicopters, a place to fly, and maybe a target range, open to all Rotary Wingers, of course. Maybe call it "Sikorsky"

A build based on Logan's Run. Damage enabled for sandman/runner showdowns. I could never build it.. but sure would like to play in it.

I would build collaboration spaces that I would rent to medium-sized geographically distributed RL businesses. Each sim would have both collaboration and entertainment/garden spaces, and each rental would include tours etc. within SL.
Just as a RL convention town would do.

I would rebuild the city I once built (it was called movix at the time cuz that was the name of the sim it was on)
it was modeled after the slum stuff out there, a very rundown, yet cool city with a working ridable elevated train, stores, office building, high rise apartments, hotel, small carnival, trailer park, small church with graveyard, a few small but cute home, night club, even a garage/service station
I also had plans for a taxi and bus system but the city was removed before I could try it
(I did not own the sim, but had permission to build what I wanted until the owner needed the space, and little by little the owner needed the space, so I just removed the rest of the city)
I miss that city
