That's what I've heard both from that same office hour, during many times before, and at the "brown bags." A lot of issues between what is public and what is private, and a lot of "do what you wanna do behind closed doors" (as in, not advertised) is supposedly okay.

That said, I don't see that in the written policy, and I think that's a large part of the reaction here. I do hope they revise it to make that at least somewhat clear. LL policies, however, aren't known for their plain speak.

That takes me back to my first months in SL I'm sure all the kid avs who where around then remember the sexual age play notecard, back then it was still alowed as long as it was not widly visual and adverticed but those rules only exsisted in anotecard handed out by lindens, mostly from the life help team (yes there used to be lindens in world helping residents) we all know how that played out tho, now it is not alowed anywhere so it won't surprice me if the offical rule in the months to come will be that explicit sexual activety will be limited to the adult continent even if it is in private, for those thinking sexual ageplay was a exeption, the same secuence happened with the gambling ban, first no adverticing, then general ban, the onyl exception of general bans was the banking ban, that did not have a no adverticing period beforehand.
