I have this nifty little freebie script that I put in a box... I call it my "Ground Leveler". Rez the box and the land smooths to meet the center line of the box. Want the land lower? Lower the box to the ground? Higher? yep, you guessed it - move it on up!

It was great when I wanted to flatten my land to have a clean starting point... and when I *ahem* mess things up.

If anyone wants it - IM me in world and I will be glad to give you a copy.

Yeah I have exactly that problem whatever flattening tools I use it always looks choppy and rough - I have a steep hill with a flat two meter wide path about half way wich is always rough whatever i try and do. I'm thinking of just slapping path textured prim down to get rid of the problem

I was faced with exactly that situation for a walkway: "medium"-wide meandering path, hill above, sheer drop to water. And of course due to storage compression of the ground plane heightmap it's a rumpled surface no matter how much I attack the edge spikes. It'll be a pain, but just tile the pathway for smooth walking.

You've already had responses in this thread offering to do it for free. If you request "serious people" you're going to get "serious" price quotes, especially if you're in a hurry.

And if you have giant holes in the ground, I suggest Select Land followed by the Smooth option.

What I mean by serious people, is people who really want to do it. I have had people offer things in the past and never come through when I asked. And I don't want anyone doing it for free.:o

I have holes, bumps and all kinds of things.:D Someone did contact me this morning inworld and she does very good work, she is going to start on it this weekend.:) Thank you all!

Oh of course! Storage compression of the ground plane heightmap, I can't believe that didn't occur to me... I'll just tile the pathway *winks*
