Also, I've stopped putting my hair in a bun and dressing exclusively in shades of grey. ;P

Haha, I'm trying to figure out how to get my RL hair to be more like Oryx's. I have a feeling it involves lots of Product and time, neither of which I have the patience for.

Trout is me, or he's who me would be if I could get away with the crap he gets away with and still be employed and have a place to live. When you talk to me or if we're friends, you get the guy sitting behind the computer, who happens to have once answered to the nickname "Trout" in a simpler time. Im fact, my conversations in RL go a lot like my conversations in SL, only louder. I sort of envy the little bugger because he gets to be a handsome, degenerate playboy while I have to drudge away at work each day, carry around some extra weight (no matter how much I work out and try to eat right) and deal with the early appearance of gray hair (at least it isn't falling out yet).

No poetry, though. I'm no good at it. Maybe I could come up with a dirty limerick. I'm just me, and that's all I have to offer.

I'm still trying to work out if me being out of your league to disgust is a compliment or not!

Graph resembles (in personality...not looks) my RL self, fun loving, flirty, easy going... at times poetic when loving, at times emotional when expressing himself.
Graph loves a good laugh and humor, don’t ask him to do stand up comedy, he will fall flat on his SL face.
I love to dance, and chat. I am devoted to Claire exclusively when we are both on SL, and a crazy flirt with the rest of the women the rest of the time...(She knows)
I don’t pretend to be an intellectual, but can carry on an intelligent conversation if the subject is interesting to me. I use the profile notes extensively to remember details about all of you out there (you may even say OMG! if you saw what I wrote about you in your profile!)
I hover between being a surfer dude, and Neko cat. Why? I am a non conformist, and very independent.

It was released 1994 and i think i was ... 6. lol.
Yosef's eyes go wide and his skin pales as blood drains from his face. His arms flail about and find a wall just in time to keep him from toppeling over. "Don't think that," he mutteres to him self repeatedly, "change those thoughts, new thoughts, just a kid, ho boy."

Dang, girl, I got pants older than you! :(

You don't have to be no fish to tell when you're flounderin'
What am I? Some kind of barnacles on the dinghy of life?
I ain't no doctors but I knows when I'm losin' me patiensk
What am I? Some kind of judge, or a lawyers?
Aw, maybe not; but I knows what laws suits me
So what am I? I ain't no physciscisk, but I knows what matters

And I gots a lot of muskle and I only gots one eye
And I never hurts nobodys and I'll never tell a lie
Tops to me bottoms and me bottoms to me top
And that's the way it is 'till the day that I drop

What am I?
I yam what I yam!
I yam what I yam what I yam what I yam...

What am I? I'm Popeye, the sailor man. Aga ga ga ga

Well, OK, I'm not exactly Popeye, but even with his speech impediment, he says it better than I ever could.

I sometimes think I'm the antithesis of the "typical" SL female player (is 'player' a correct word? 'Typist' sounds weird to me).

I'm more comfortable barefoot and in jeans (in SL) than combing the stores for the latest bling. (And DO some of these women actually know that their knickers are showing when they walk around in that full length prim skirt sticking straight out????) I prefer casual clothes. That said, Brann has a wonderful bosom :)

All forum-evidence to the contrary, I do not play with boy toys in public. My, ahem, attentions are too important and personal to me to put on display and I'd expect the same from my partner. To each their own, I guess :)

Personality-wise, I am Brann. I don't think I RP very well :)

hmmm. Never heard it. It was released 1994 and i think i was ... 6. lol. i just saw the title and tough, yea! thats cool lol. so i adopted it.

nope. Max didn't work. I once ended up with the chicken song in my head for about 4 weeks. Nothing would shift it. Not even ceesy xmas songs. I seem to be really stubborn in that regard lol.

Amalia. um... wow! Thats a gorgeous poem!

Oh my! I have seen them so many times when I was in high school and quite a bit after. NOFX is great, the best album IMHO is their live album "Heard they suck live" Not my favorite band, but I do love them!

Describe yourself. Who are YOU in SL?
I am a male wonderer. I have a small group of very close friends (they are RL friends as well) who also play SL. Recently I have had a burning drive to go out and meet new people. To break myself from the rut I was falling in to. I needed a new rut. I am a hopeless romantic, a believer in true love but realistic enough to know you can ot force it, no matter how bad you want to. Arrogant, insecure, impetious, modest and flirtatious. I tend to be much more exposed in SL than I would ever let my typest be. I am questing for happiness and the best way I know to get happiness is to give it.

From: someone
Why are you Neko? Or human? Or Furry?
I joined SL to be with friends who were furry so I have a furry AV. I wanted a human AV so I could go to diferent places when my friends were not there. After I had a breakup I went back to furry as a way to hide behind a mask. Now, the funny thing is, my furry is a tiger but my human is more of a tiger than the furry.

What is it about this fascinating place that has made you fascinating and helped you to shape that fascination?

SL brings out the poet in all of us - do you agree?
I am sorry, but I have to disagree. We are not all poets, nor should we all be. Every person has a role and every role needs a person.

From: someone
Is your avitar a poem for us all to read?
In a sense, but probably not exactly how you mean. Women acessorize, men get tats. It is easy to read an avatar when the words are spelled out for you :) The Three of Swords on my left pec will never change. It is a reminder for me. The rest I may change at any time depending on whether or not I find something i like. The reaper on my back needs to go, but it will tell me when it needs to change. The od symbol on my right pec is just a place holder for visual balance. I am thinking of putting one there that says "your name here." The tribal masks on my arms are my strength or rather my protection. Even that is not quite right. They are there to remind me what strongs arms are for. Holding and protecting, not for hurting.

Otherwise, Yosef was made to look good. I think of meeting people (especially women) like trying to find a job. Good looks will get you more interviews, but after that you are on your own.

aww come on. I'm not that scary am i? :p

thing is, although I am only 18, I feel a lot older, so in SL i tend to see myself in my early twenties. I act very childish on occasion, but generally I am more mature than my age suggests.
Does anyone else find they are a different age in SL than RL? Or am I the only one? Its just something I think about occasionally.

I must admit, I had the same reaction that Yosef did, but tried really hard not show it. You did make me feel a bit old there for a moment..........but the thing is, I'm still young........still called a baby by some. At this point where age is concerned, whether RL or SL - it is difficult to pin point someones age, have you ever noticed that there are people who just seem ageless? You can't look at them and actually put them into an age category? I find it interesting...........in SL, I'm just me. I would love to develope Storm into an extension of me, but reality is, Storm and her RL counterpart will probably always be one in the same. So as far age............I really don't even notice it in RL or in SL.

Claire, I was only joking.
Sort of.

I guess you could say I am younger in SL than in RL. When people find out how old I am, some of them have a similar reaction. Let me put it this way: I remember watching the first moon landing on TV. Black and White TV. I was in the 3rd grade at the time.

Unless a person is at one of the extremes as far as age, Mari or Cee's granny, I pretty much assume all human AV's are 25. This does include myself, since it was when I was 25 that I most resembled my AV. No, the years have not been kind since.

You have a couple years on me, but a 9 inch B&W was all we had until I was 9, took another 12 years for me to get a TV with a remote. Phones had cords and rotary dials. A game console that only played Pong was state of the art. :D

Damn, from Pong to pose balls. What a change.

Indeed yes!

Ceera's "official age" in roleplay is "somewhere above 700 years", though her appearance is usually a woman in her mid 20's, regardless of her species. She's a shapeshifter, and immortal, so why shouldn't she always appear in her prime?

Another of my alts is 14. She's Ceera's daughter, Reisuki.

Another alt is 18.

And another is 22.

One male alt is in his 30's.

Another of my male alts is 50.

My RL player? Well, Let's start with the fact that I have a 12 year old daughter in RL... And I got a late start at starting a family... Beyond that? Well, I stopped counting at 29, of course! Do you really expect a lady to admit her age?

Elora is an ageless sweet, loving, pixie, with a naughty streak, who hides in human form 99% of the time. When she is human, she is pretending to be the person who runs the Av, who happens to look remarkably like me, if you took off about 25 years and more than several pounds lol. Same personality, same coloring, same height, sometimes chatty, sometimes just likes to watch whats happening around her, loving, intelligent, earthy, sensuous, loves the company of men and has many close male friends but doesn't flirt much because she's very devoted to the one she loves, enjoys dancing, non-judgemental, loves all kinds of people, goes out of her way for her small group of close friends and family; somewhat private, ocassionally sarcastic and gossipy, and tries not to embarrass herself in public (too badly).

Eben ~ a Haiku
---------------------

Amalgam Eben,
A lover of Gaijin chic;
I am a mixture.

Seriously, though, Eben is a mixture of myself and people I've loved having known and having as part of my first life. When I made his skin, I used a website that let me combine many different people's pictures to make a composite face. I also consulted with a few different skin designers and implemented ideas from each one. He's human because just like Candide I belive that despite all its faults, this is the best of all possible worlds. Take that how you will.

SL lets me live out my "playboy billionaire/architect/creative designer" fantasies where I can build or buy things that are aesthetically pleasing to me. I love Japanese art, and especially as seen through the "innocence" of western eyes...seeing things for their beauty without the weight of cultural and historical significance weighing that beauty down.
