I think that anyone who has been given the move to zindra should seriously consider keeping their mature shop open. In theory the worst that will happen is you'll get an AR and then be told to clean up or have the shop returned.
Interesting. We're also told that landlords are not responsible for what tenants do on rented land (otherwise every Mature sim landlord would qualify for a Zindra swap). So... does it not follow that one could rent (or rent out) store parcels for copies of Zindra-moved content, until tracked down and AR'd? One would want to be sure the parcel names and descriptions had no "adult words" and maybe omit some stuff on the premise that it may improve longevity. Assuming sales exceed the rent, I'm not really seeing a downside.

This is the problem with PG, I'd consider a nipple a "parental guidance" issue myself. There are lingerie stores in pretty much every major city on the planet, and some small ones!

LL doesn't like nipples :(

I can't see one either. Of course it's the ads that are the killer - but not until 1.23 comes in supposedly.

So the question becomes, are emotes considered depictions of sexual activity, or only pose balls/images?

The interesting part is many Islands will be expected to Rate themselves as "Adult"

BUT ..

If they had the same exact content on the Mainland, they would have been denied a Zindra Swap.

Except that 1.23.4.123908 is the default download at the SL home page. So the "new viewer" is here, with all its adult search options, etc.

Now, no matter what the content is, I thought even privately owned sims, if open to the public, were subject to the new Maturity Ratings. Am I wrong?

They should probably ask a Linden to come in and make sure how they should be rated.

But what I remember is something like this: Stripping in itself isn't necessarily 'adult'. If there is a back room and more goes on, and it's advertised/not a private home, then it is adult.

Yes, but it's not compulsory yet, and won't be until various bugs have been fixed, which they hope will be some time in mid- to late-August, or so Blondin Linden has repeatedly said at his office hours.

It may also be, I guess, that they're hoping to get the swops and the auction out of the way before they brace themselves for the flood of inquiries and complaints from island owners and residents who're unpleasantly surprised to discover that all this does, indeed, affect them after all.
