My 'New to SL' Story...

I've been in SL for nearly a week now. My very first day was an interesting experience, so I thought I would share it and see if anyone else had a fun 'new to SL' story to share.  I finished Orientation Island and couldn't wait to see more of SL. I tried walking around a bit but kept running into areas I couldn't enter, so I clicked on a sign and was TPed somewhere.....but it was a building where none of the people were wearing clothes, and they were all VERY friendly with each other.... I didn't know that avatars could have that kind of anatomical detail on them! No, I didn't want to take my clothes off. I didn't even know how to TP out. There were so signs I could click on to TP me.... Finally a kind woman took pity on the newb (me ) and told me how to TP around and even directed me to Free Dove and a few other good URLs, so it all has a happy ending. |
