It means that the server doesn't receive your packet. This, in turn means, that the packet never gets as far as the server. This, in turn, means that the packet is lost somewhere between your computer and the server, resulting in the fact that the server does not get your packet since it has already been lost by the time it should have reached the server.

You might want to try and trace the long journey of your packet. It might actually be helpful in finding out what is happening to it. It should also keep you busy for a while and stop you from opening even more repetitive threads.

Maybe I read it wrong, no response from intermediate hosts, but those are traceroutes udp ports 33434 >< 33690 and the last line is probably just ping. Results to the destination are there. But, still lots of packet loss on final line. Sent 44 received 21. 53%. 47% PACKET LOSS.

traceroute and ping -s are less confusing!

Speaking of being stuck outside, Kiboe, you seem tense. Why don't you take a walk outside. get some fresh air, come to grips with your rage issues, maybe grab a bite to eat. Calm down and relax. People here tried to answer your questions, but we can't wave magic wands and make SL work right. LL can't even make SL work right, and they have access to important parts of SL, like with buttons and levers and blinky lights and stuff.
