ALT Accounts -Different Sex?

Does anyone have an alt, that is a diff sex from yourself or your main? why is that? I myself have a male alt and a female main. the alt is mainly for dress-up purpose and for bloodlines.

And, no, i do not have an alt of a different sex. Well actually, in 200-THE NUMBER I CANNOT SAY WITHOUT BEING SLAMMED, i had a male alt, but it was originally my husbands account in SL.

I play a lycan on the alt. mainly because, ive played as a vampire on my main, and i wanted to try something different. and in my opinion a lycan is more thought of as a male.

What do the Lycans do?

Is there a hud for them, if so what does it do? Lycans are way cool in my book.

Most of my accounts are female. A few shapeshift and can be either gender. A few are strictly male.

Why? For a variety of realistic roleplaying options, and because a buff male truck driver with the name "Mary" hanging over his head looks too silly to believe.

Yes there is a HUD for the lycans. they are a part of the bloodlines. but instead of 'The Thirst' it is 'The Rage'. we do not collect blood, but we do collect Lumens. it is basically the same as the Vampires but we do not have fangs, we have claws.

Are the lycans as annoying as the spampires?

Yeah that.
I made sure to pick a more shapeshifting-appropriate name for my alt.

That is all a matter of opinion. Neither Lycans are Vampire are annoying in general, it is the person behind the creature that is to blame.

Lightbulbs, candles, the sun...

lumens are similar to blood but not the same. its a clear plasma that we collect from clawing a willing person.

So Lycans run around collecting lightbulbs, candles and the sun. Hmmmm...

Why do they call vampires "vampires" but call werewolves "lycans"? Does some movie company have a trademark on the word "werewolf" or something?

Main is male, alt is female. Haven't used the female in a long time but she is starting to be more active as a way of investigating submissive relationships.

I have a male alt that I created about a month after I started. Needed a guys bod to model the tattoos I used to make and sell on. After that first couple months I got bored with the tattoos, so I haven't even logged that account on in years.

I have several female avatars in Argent's repertoire... for example, I bought both male and female versions of Lucah Solvang's deer. Does it count as an alt when it's the same account?

I have one male alt. Though, since I don't actually have a name, I technically could safely shapeshift gender in this account. Nah... Nevar! XD

I have one female alt whom I created partly due to a dare, and partly because I wanted someone to dress up in purdy outfits I'd see on the freebie blogs. Of course, I try and put her in something pink and frilly, she'll probably kick my ass with the combat boots she went and bought with the money she stole from my main account. >_>

(The exception was the unicorn dress I got her a while back, I think the fact that they were fornicating on the dress amused her.)

Oddly enough ... this *is* my alt, which became my primary.

When I first got into SL 3 years ago, I didn't know what to expect. I assumed (incorrectly) that just as in RL ... male avatars would be better suited. So I played cross-gender ... a male avatar for a RL female user.

Yeah ... that didn't last long. I quickly learned that "the hot chicks" get a lot more attention. I mean, my male could walk into a bar and sit there for hours without anyone paying any real attention. Good for just exploring, but on a social level the female avatars are typically much more accepted right off the bat. Overall, it's assumed initially that all male avatars want sex with you.

So I started over with a fresh account and WOO HOO I'm still here.

I still keep my alt ...well was my main initially but now is my alt ... I keep him active. I use him for testing things out, adjusting poses, getting in-world to work on things without being bombarded with IM's from my friends, etc. I even used him once for a photo gig in a Gor sim. I figured it would be more appropriate to have a male wandering around than to have a hot redhead visiting.

His name is supposed to be Sue

I have a male alt I use a fair bit. For ages and ages I forgot the password for that account and was locked out, then finally I resurrected him. I used him very sparingly until the Make Him Over Hunt in June and then I started using him way more than this account. A few of my female friends also have male alts and we did a lot of the hunt together and had guys nights and just had fun all around.

Interestingly, I'm way more shy and less likely to chat people up when I'm running the alt. I'm pretty sassy and outgoing as Looli, but as Fin, I find I second guess my smart-ass commentary because I'm worried I'll come off as a jerk.
