There's a coffee shop or some such in Bay City by the name of Cafe Deco.

It's owned by Governor Linden.

Nice looking place, but....

There's a menu on the wall like this:

The only thing they carry there is the house coffee.

There's no cheesecake, no latte, nothing but house coffee.

One expects Governors to lie, cheat, steal, and worse in their duties as Governor, but when it comes to doing something important like running a coffee shop they should be held to some kind of standard of honesty and decency.

Tantalizing people with offers of Mocca and Chocolate Fudge Cake and then not delivering is just plain cruel.

Shame on you Governor Linden.

Nothing to be proud of!. It's like celebrating your 10,000th crap in the toilet. Then again, I'm sure we would if we had a crapometer.

Especially not with a post of such a frivolous nature as the start of this thread. At least it was a good natured one.

I remember being in the car as a kid when the odometer was going to reach 99,999.99 and turn back to zero, and being excited in anticipation of this momentous event.

The 99,999.99 appeared, then the 00,000.00, then it just kept going up at the same rate it had before. The road looked the same, and so did the car and the people in it.

It was quite disappointing.

Well, if I'd made any friends here or had any thing to show for it at all I guess it would be something to be pleased about.

Given what I've done with the rest of my life, spending a lot of time reading the SL forums and for the most part just trying to answer people's questions and ask my own is better than many other ways I might be spending my time.

Personally, I think a continuous torch and pitchfork rebellion at the Cafe Disco, coupled with a call for the impeachment of Governor Linden, is in order.

Thanks for the cake and stuff folks.

Suzanne, I have read tons of posts here by you. I have read them at other SL forums at times. You have always been helpful and informative. 10,000 posts by you has been a service for SL. Be proud of all you have done to help this community. :)

It's a fine thing, if you deliver what you promise.

Unlike those dirty rats running that gubernatorial House of Java Lies out in that swanky Bay City.

The travesty, get out the pitch forks and torches, we shall storm the mansion.
