I want a job in advertising. It sounds like fun, even when you do work. Are you guys hiring? I've got a great resume which is entirely fabricated, so as long as you don't check on it, I look really solid. I really was the President of Botswana from 1988 through 1995, and I'm completely honest about the two Nobel Prizes and the pending Pulitzer. Plus, when I was in charge of UNICEF, we did some really amazing things, none of which I can recall off the top of my head. I got an A- in ceramics one semester...

Happy three day weekend to everyone! I'm not going to be around a whole lot because I have RL commitments, but I'll be thinking about all my friends here and wishing I was on-line for the party tomorrow.

I work for state government and we aren't getting this one. We do get a lot of other ones though.

Maybe the wrong state, then?... Actually, I wonder if the PA state government is closed tomorrow. I have no idea. I guess none of the state offices are, then.

I used to work for an attorney, and had way more holidays then what I have now in sales. He closed his office everytime the courthouse was closed, which was every federal holiday.
I sometimes miss those days.

MMhmm Some of the *state* postitions would get holidays and then the *county* positions wouldnt. I want a job that I get the whole week of Madigras off or at least Fat Tuesday

I'll be around some, just not as much as I would be on a normal weekend, and I'm definitely ok with a silk show.

As for tanning, don't most women tan very close to nude if not nude? I've never actually tanned in a booth before. I can't imagine they would call you a whore. If it were my tanning salon and one of my employees did that, it would be their last day working for me.

I think they would only call you whorish if the tape the owner of salon had wound up on the evening news or a live internet feed.

I had to do some work with a Fijian company a while back. I spent a lot of time in the middle of the night dialing a LOT of numbers to try to reach a live person there. What a hassle. I was so tired, and I got zero credit for it at work. I still had to show up first thing in the AM and put in a full day's work, even though I'd been on the dang phone all night for them. I feel for you, Wildefire.

Speaking of conference calls ...
I need to get a long recording of one sometime. One of those mono-toned filibuster types that drone on and on with an occasional cough in the background. That way, when I want to get some work done, I can shut the office door, play the recording and everyone will leave me alone for a few minutes. Might also be good for after lunch naps too

I run regularly scheduled online training sessions every Tuesday and Friday...morning and afternoon sessions, so you can catch up on work in the morning, and catch a nap in the afternoon (Pacific time zone).

Just be certain to mute your phone if you tend to snore...

I get a three day weekend too! But with rl commitments it will be a normal SL weekend for me. Maybe Monday I will get to spend more time than normal in-world.

I can't wait to see all those whorish women, naked boobs, stilettos on their feet and pitchforks in their hand. Chasing add-farmers who while running away turn once in a while and scream 'Help! My freedoms are getting trampled!'

Yes of course! The stilettos are a must...........but I thought Man Whores already knew how to walk in stilettos, No?

It's just not safe to run in stillettos with a pitchfork in one hand and a torch in the other, especially if you're naked.
