There should be a picture of a naked girl tied to a bed being done by a horse. If you want to be honest about things. OK, I kid. It doesn't happen that often. One hardly ever comes home to see two complete strangers doing that. Hardly ever. She's right. They usually aren't strangers. _____________________

It amuses me that the picture on the log-in screen is always of land and trees. Never a person, a building or anything - very odd. Just as an aside, I've noticed the lighting corresponds to the time of day at login. Kinda neat.  _____________________

Log-in screen? I've had a black screen for a log-in screen for several weeks now. Before that it woud show the landscape at different times of the day, depending on what the time was inside SL. Maybe your mistress will let you log in without the blindfold soon.  _____________________

How about a picture of an avatar with no hair, a partially rezzed building around her with 16x16 textures stretched across prim faces, and a dialog at the top right saying not to do any transactions in-world?

They could put up a pic of people racing vehicles at one of the several great auto tracks. Now that mono is here, that might be more viable

It amuses me that the picture on the log-in screen is always of land and trees. Never a person, a building or anything - very odd. This to me makes sense, as SL is all about virtual land. You have a blank canvas, it is up to you to create your world. |

Oooh, I have something better! It was done on the beta grid a while back when the main grid was down. Talk about amusing.... Everyone was Ruthed, naked and gray. Those that had some color were still naked.. Prims were either gray, solid colors, and a prim of two that was plywood. Only things that rendered nicely were the plants and the ground! *checks through her snapshots* Yep still have that one. Lovingly labeled, "Future of SL." _____________________

See, I'm not asking for "a picture of someone manipulating a plywood cube". Hell, even something like the banner at the top of the forums would be a step up...at least it shows you can be different things other than a consumer with bad fashion sense!
For a second they had a picture of people at the Wastelands and that was kinda cool, even if it did look pretty generic. I just want it to be variety so some people will think "cool I can be a werewolf or a robot or drive a crazy car or spaceship!". These front pictures are VERY limiting of the potential garbage people can waste money on So did anyone actually answer my question? I saw something about JIRA in there (and I agree nothing will come of that) but other than that it's been a commentary on my original post. I admit I stopped reading after a while when it was more or less the same responses over and over... _____________________
