Do you fee an excessive need to poll opinions on every Goddamn thing about SL?

Are you genuinely obsessed with what drives SL residents to do what they do?

Do you really want to know every little tick that makes virtual folk tick?

Are you planning to redeem the whole sorry shebang with your accumulated knowledge?

Do you give a damn, really?

Answers on the poll please but I should say that, personally, I couldn't care less what you think.

Oh, a poll? Where is it?
But seriously, polls just appear and disappear in a wave like motion. One week you get a lot of them, then everybody gets tired of them and you won't see them for months.
If you don't like em: ignore em. If you don't like furries, then simply don't go to furnation or someplace like that. If you don't like football, then don't programm the sports channel on your TV. Is it that hard to just ignore that which is not your cup of tea? If something as simple and simply ignorable as a poll ticks you off, then how can you simply stand being around people at all?

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Nothing wrong with having an enquiring disposition.

Not that I've ever felt the need to enquire after furries or football or whatever.

As for the poll? Well what can I say? Must have f@cked up on the interface again. Damn thing isn't very user friendly - to say the least.

Or even 'cancel' when the blasted things get posted prematurely.

Go here: to vote.

There isn't a Purple Monkey Dishwasher option, however.

Yep there is - including a delicious pie option! I've posted a link to the serious action several times above.

My apologies. It seems I'm incapable of decent polling. This is a premature thread that went through somehow while the interface was telling me I hadn't configured the poll properly. It's kind of fun as a ghost thread though.

If you don't care Ephraim and the forum topics annoy you why do you read them? Or us?

I understand the poll.

I don't understand the part where you say you don't care what we all think anyway.

Well it is kind of an incongruous and even contradictory remark to include with a poll of folks' opinions, isn't it? I was being ironic. Inviting people to speculate whether or not I really do give a damn. Which is a reflection on my own thoughts on threads of this enquiring nature.

I guess Brianna got more than a bit grumpy with me over it but I can't imagine she gives much of a damn what I think in the long run. The idea for the poll was certainly inspired by the subject of a number of threads from her but it wasn't personal: there are quite a few current threads by different individuals that give me the same pause for thought.

I guess it mainly came across as grouchy and critical. I didn't see the speculation part in saying you don't care what we think.

Not sure what you mean by the statement about 'reflecting your own thoughts on threads that ask questions.' It's clear you dislike them. Or are you saying that you think those who invite others to speculate or reply to questions in threads don't actually care what others think.

I guess one could debate that but it seems a bit of a blanket statement.

I picked up on the dissatisfaction, which is why I asked why you'd want to read the forums at all.

People pick up what they want to pick up or read into what's written or said. It's the name of the game in forums of this sort - aside from perhaps the more technical discussions. I've picked people up in entirely the wrong way in the past. I'll do it again, I'm sure, and it doesn't surprise me that others do so.
