When I was still new and hanging around in the old welcome area in Ahern (2004-2005 ish) I watched as a newly rezzed avatar name Violet Manhattan bumped and pushed her way through every single person in the welcome area. Violet, of course, went on to become a rather famous griefer in SL and was (I think) eventually banned.

Bumping friends for a laugh is one thing. Bumping someone accidentally is one thing. Intentional pushing is a pretty clear sign of a griefer in my book.

I was at NCI a while ago, and I saw 2 adolescent looking girls taking great delight in playing noob hockey. They would would wait for someone to get near the freebie wall, and corner them and keep bouncing them around. After a couple of times, I went over and turned on my move lock and told them to bounce someone their own age. After a few futile attempts, I told them to go play somewhere else or I was going to tell their fathers that thay were in the basement on the computer making believe they were girls. :p

Intentional bumping is juvenile nonsense, but if it happens to me I usually just ignore it and move on. If it escalates into real harrasment, then it is definitely AR worthy.

No, it's certainly not new . . . but the degree to which it is rude can depend on context. If it is entirely unexpected, or targets noobs or even just strangers, it's a mild form of griefing. My favourite in this category are the morons who attach super-sized genitalia to themselves, and proceed to "bump" into as many female avatars as they can.

:D

Might I suggest staying away from search results which include the terms "free sex?" lol Lots of sickos here but they can be avoided pretty easily.
