From: Pserendipity Daniels You've seen the photos?
Pep (You nearly just got me fired!) For Pep, golf attire and a simulated golf area, whatever they are called? For this forum, I'd like to see a boxing ring. When fights break out, the posters have to go there and duke it out in real simulation! hehehe

From: Avawyn Muircastle Oh yes, that's not a good look.
To me what is missing in SL is a better variety of music. Most of the clubs play the same songs as each other and the same songs every week, and the next week, and for the whole month, and for the past three months, and so on.
But I guess that's what the majority wants, so land owners go with that. This is why I love being a DJ. I do play some of the "popular" stuff, but most of the time I use clubs as a venue to play stuff that wouldn't get airplay otherwise. I'm with you on the homogenous music scene in SL. Yes, I know that Crazy Bitch is your theme song; yes, I know you really love Closer by NiN; okay, I can play HIM's Wings of the Butterfly; but if you come to any events I DJ you're also going to hear Machines of Loving Grace, L'ame Immortelle, Helium Vola, New Model Army, Combichrist, MGMT, Angels & Airwaves, Siouxsie & the Banshees, Airborne Toxic Event, Velvet Underground, and probably a fair amount of Marilyn Manson that normally doesn't get played. As for me, I would love to get a HYPNOTOAD. I've been looking for one for ages all over. So far, no dice.

Definitely what's missing is a documented map of all the products available in-world, together with all the desires of the residents so that everyone can know what niche markets haven't yet been tapped, and can build their own business...
... oh and that all for free, please....

We still need more cowbell.
And, yes, while it is an issue that only LL can address, we need neck attachment points. When's the last time you wore an RL necklace on your chest? Wouldn't that be a chestlace? If there's some technical reason why a neck attachment point was impossible when SL was created, that'd be nice to know, but if not, they need to make it happen.

From: Iyoba Tarantal I started out in SL May 14, 2008 and I probably have more African fabric patterns than any one else. There is currently only one Hannukah dress for sale in SL. Guess who made it. There's a menorah for sale for 500L. There's now a menorah for sale for 100L. (Blatant self-promotion - each candle can be lit separately.)

I've been waiting for Zooby's to make a pettable Pomeranian in red. They have the regular Pom in red (and white and PINK!! PINK?!?!) But I already have my VKC walking Chow.
When the pettable dogs were first introduced at Zooby's, there was a white and black Pom. I contacted the designer to see if she was planning on doing a red pettable Pom. She said yes, but apparently didn't get around to it.
Oh well. :/

Unique Superpowers...

like, one in ten thousand noobs gets bit by a spider, and develops super hearing...can hear IMs.
Another is accidentally irradiated, and gains the ability to be completely invisible.
Another comes from a planet with high gravity, and gets the ability to make time run backwards and defeat evil (Prokofy).

What I need in Second Life is a Third Life in order to have enough hours in the week to see and do everything and still have time over to sort inventory. -- Aes

Well here's my wish-list... More avatar attachment points More people online between the hours of 2AM and 6AM SLT (being in the wrong timezone sucks and most of the events I want to go to happen while I'm asleep) More mens pants that don't leave a three inch gap between waistband and hem of shirt (and wearing jacket layer t-shirts, or an extra piece on the underpants layer, is a poor workaround to compensate). Also more men's pants that are not jeans. A fix for the alpha sorting bug Six extra hours in the day ...that should do. Also... I apologise for just diving in without posting some sort of intro, but I can't actually find any sort of intro thread or forum. So... hello I'm Lewis, been in SL since about August, recently bitten by the content-creation bug, and currently active on a certain other forum which shall remain nameless (but I expect a few of you know me already).

May I suggest you go and introduce yourself in the Undying Thread? The ladies there could do with *cough* some fresh meat *cough* a new male to entertain them . . . Pep (They may appear more friendly than "over there" but don't turn your back on them!)

There are few if any zero gravity or low gravity areas in SL. I would bet there is a way to do it - actually I think it could be done with flying animations that somehow allow you to be upside down or sideways. Worth looking into for role play or just for fun. There are not enough beautiful places in SL you can enjoy with a *platonic* friend. Too many of the sit poses in parks are snuggle/cuddle couple oriented. Yet many of us are single, have real life relationships that don't spill over into SL, and we don't want to sit in one half a cuddle pose. There needs to be more dances for males that actually look cool. I have to admit though, dancing some of the dorky guy moves in SL has made me a lot more accepting of the idea of dancing in real life. I have found a few that are really cool and graceful though. Let's see - what else is missing? I don't believe I've yet seen any winged hippopotami.

Stability.
Fair treatment of its residents by Linden Lab. Better community relations. Greater lung capacity for avatars that are holding their breath waiting for any of the above.
