XStreet was acquired by Linden Lab a few months ago. the thing is i can log in here and i am good for the website and grid info and anything that is part of sl.. xstreet is someplace else that my information is sitting on the net.. if they were the same then i wouldn't have to log in here and there is all i mean.. i may be over cautious but until it is there for awhile with no problems i just don't want to risk a 3 year old account because they say it's safe..they say a lot of things.. lol i just know i got a funny feeling in my tummy when i saw that and stopped in my tracks.. my account is important enough to wait and get a better feeling about it for me.. i got the expansion for wow just to see what those death knights were like..two weeks hacked hahahaha so i'm gonna be leary no what they say really.i just know my tummy is pretty smart a lot of the time lol  |

It's using OpenID (albeit a non-standard one), so your password information stays on Linden Labs OpenID server, it doesn't get transmitted to the XStreetSL server. And XSL is not the only place you have to relog... logging on here doesn't log you into Jira either. |

At least that is my take on it.

From: DJQuad Radio I suggest not trying to do anything with SL or Xstreet if you want to actually make money. What a joke. That's very secondary to me so I do just fine on XStreet & SL for what I want out of both.

And XSL is not the only place you have to relog... logging on here doesn't log you into Jira either. No but they're working on changing that site by site so eventually if you log into SLX you can go to the forums, JIRA, blog, etc... without having to login if it's the same session. My only issue is the way they define session. On the forums a session is indefinite it seems (no auto logout) on SLX it's incredibly short.
