Losing a loved one is the most difficult, painful thing one ever has to go through. It is bad enough when one has time to prepare for it, but when it happens without any warning...

My condolences go to you and your family, Danielle.

It's hard to believe a lot of people and their family members I know have died since 2006. I had at least 4 friends in RL die since July 2007, and my grandmother passed away in last June. The list is just endless.

I'm sorry to hear this Danielle.

And you are doing the right thing letting people know. I didn't really make enough emotional room for myself when my mother died and I ended up feeling roughly treated by people who probably would have been kinder if I had been clearer about how her death was affecting me. I just assumed that if you tell people a parent has died they would understand. What I learned is that everyone grieves in their own way and it is important to let people know how you are grieving.

Although I know it is something you will have to go through, I wish you some blessed moments during this time to help you through.
