Raising the Titanic? Ssshhhhhh!!! That is long forgotten. The women who got their panties all wet over the movie Titanic would never watch it since Leonardo isnt in it. ![]() _____________________

Surrogates looks pretty good. It's a pretty stock SF meme these days but I don't recall seeing it done well in a movie before now. This one seems to hark back to one of the first stories of the genre, where it was a wrestler whose remote controlled body gets arrested so he does the unthinkable and goes out in his own body to clear himself.
I want to say it was by Frederick Brown, probably because so much of the good early stuff was, but I can't remember. Anyone got an idea? _____________________

Best part of the movie? The ship sinking. The rest was booooorrrrrinnggggg!!! At least it hasnt fallen prey to a Hollywood Sequel. As for Celine Dion- Blame Canada!!!! HEY!! We Canadians aren't too fond of her either... but she sells a heck of alot of CD's worldwide.. We even sent her to Vegas....(hoping she'd stay there) but that was short lived. YES! I agree with you...the best part was the ship sinking. That's when I knew the movie was lumbering towards its end. Just like the English Patient.. I kept thinking.. 'please, please.. die already.." ![]() |

There's, uh, probably a lot of things you didn't know about lindens. Another, another interesting, uh, lindenism, uh, there are only three jobs available to a linden. The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

Ever play Kingdom Hearts 2?? Everytime your party talks to someone they have to repeat the names over & over: Sora, Donald, Goofy!! Sora, Donald, Goofy! Sora, Donald, Goofy! Sora, Donald, Goofy! I'm glad they do because, Gee!, I might forget who they are!!! ![]() I think that was the same way in KH1 if I recall correctly. LOL |

Looks like there's a Pandoran avatar out already.
Wonder how long that lasts under the new rules. _____________________

Yep, all the time. Though I do watch non-animated shows (Heroes and one novela on Telemundo) ![]() Heroes, although the writers really suck ever since the writers strike. Fringe & Warehouse 13 totally rock! Looking forward to SG universe. Only novela I was hooked into was a few years ago and was HUGE worldwide: Amigas y Rivales. My Spanish is horrible and it was still fun. Kid shows? Hey my daughter is 13 now and I have watched all of them. Her current fav is a tween show: iCarly. Several people wondered what the tie in is between Avatar and SL. Only one that I know of and to me it is an important one; Imagination! Who knows, but I can imagine some day in the future when "Your World, Your Imagination" becomes something much, much more. _____________________

Surrogates looks pretty good. Avatar, I think will be a far more compelling immersion into an alternate reality/future with far fewer constraints, not being a near future scenario. We'll see. |

I wont pay to see it in a theater, I'll download a hi-def version and watch it at home. The CGI alone is enough to draw me in, the nakkid cat girrrls is a plussses. I thought about seeing it at home instead, but even calculating $10 a week saved in movie tickets it was going to cost too much for the audiouvisual equipment, soundproofing and knocking out walls to get a half decent cinema experience without pissing off the neighbours, and I'd have to wait till it was released on DVD instead of seeing it at release. Seeing it at the drive-in would be better again, unfortunately I can't get the car into the back yard to pull that off at home either ![]() _____________________

Quick time? nooo thanks! LMAO! Is it available in a normal format at all? (like worldwide or something?) I thought quicktime was a normal format, it's worked fine on every junker PC I've put together so far and I've never had to pay for it. Youtubes had the trailers up for a month or two, look for it there. _____________________

What's wrong with that? ![]() I'm reluctant to admit I actually watch the Disney Channel shows sometimes, and I have no kids. hehe ![]() I can top it! Almost 24/7 I am watching Cartoon Network/Adult Swim. My current fav is Chowder, Flapjack, and Ben 10. Adult Swim- Squidbillies, Metalocalypse, Bleach, and most other anime. I prefer cartoons over most of the drek they show on TV anymore.... except Desperate Housewives! I'd LOVE to live on street with hot, horny housewives. ![]() _____________________
