How do I get CLICKABLE links to show up in this forum

When i try to insert a link in my post, it ends up just showing up as http:blahblahblah but it's not clickable.

Format it with img tags. Edit it to replace URL with IMG and /URL with /IMG. Then your link will be clickable.

LL disabled the code over a year ago due to "security issues". Use the suggestion above for Forefox. You can also wrap image tags around it but I think only IE users will see it.

BBcode is disabled. Only Copy and Paste can save you now.

Nope. I use Safari and I see the IMG tag-formatted addresses as clickable links just fine.

I just see the whole thing with the tags. I have safari.

I also saw the tags in that one, but one I typed in manually and previewed post on, in another thread, worked just fine as a clickable link.

Just a red X in a box? Really? That's not how it comes out on my end on Safari. It's just a blue underlined clickable link. All the validly formatted images in the forums come out that way.

Weird how that works and you didn't use anything special. Maybe it's different for youtube urls?

I'm actually trying to insert a clickable SLURL into a post in another forums and I still can't seem to get that to work.

Actually I see something different with Ceka's formatting when you quoted it.

Where I used IMG and /IMG, in your quote of her post it looks like this (I replaced [ and ] with *, and also changed the text that you click on, so that it won't be formatted):

maybe your browser needs to use that upper code and link..i know i had to do that with hyper links on my websites most times

That's what I did too in my posts, but your quotes are coming out with all the URL formatting shown above, when you're quoted.
