Quite possibly. Getting absolutely nowhere with this though - virtually unplayable unless I stay at home.

I was having horrendous problem past few weeks...tried everything, including, reinstalling, cleaning registry etc. It got to the point where if I logged on at home or tp'ed home i was orbited 2 sims away...at first when that new issue appeared 3 days ago, I thought it was a griefer then, I had the bright idea to log on with my older computer and it wasn't happening----I wasn't even crashing, (just lagging) I realized it was just the ongoing, flakey, SL problem with new computer equipment.
I downloaded the "New Release Candidate Viewer" 1-18-4-1 and the problems went away for now. ( I say "for now'--because I do not trust any of it anymore)
