It's because new accounts have been created by people who left because of what happened recently. so to prove a point their original Aves have left SL, but then made alts and came back. Most of my friends have atleast 2 alts recently, so not as many here as you might think.

What's the point of leaving if you are going to come right back as an alt? That's asinine. It becomes an empty gesture, grandstanding.
