Top ten signs you're an SL junkie:

You're too lazy to walk, so you try to fly

You're at a RL party and a bit too drunk. You realise that you're staggering.
You get really agitated because you can't remember how to Stop All Animations.

You go out dancing RL and wonder why you cant have that cool dancing anim so you dont look like a dork.

Also, in the beginning I would just leap over things in SL, don't do that anymore, but I was starting to think how much easier it would be to leap over that ledge and fall the 50 meters to the ground, instead of using the stairs.

True story - I saw a bunch of pink and blue balloons advertising a sale and instantly thought "poseballs".

Did you stand there for a little bit with your arm up-raised and pointing at the "poseballs" wondering why you weren't sitting yet?

No, but I wondered what poseballs like that were doing in a PG sim. Clumped together like that, they had to be rated Mature!

The other thing I had happen was while I was stopped at an intersection, a woman walked her bike in front of my truck, and I swear, she looked EXACTLY like a friend's avatar in SL. I'm not kidding. I had to restrain myself from calling out to her.

"Hey! How's it going? Oh, wait, this is RL and you're a stranger...nm."

It was bizarre how quickly I made the connection. Someone help me.

Another is when you call a pinata a sploder since it really splodes with candy or whatever is in it.

I work at a college. I saw a girl the living image of my alt in the corridor and just stopped myself saying "WTF are *you* doing here?"

That's exactly the reaction! It's a really weird, sort of confused feeling for a couple seconds until you shift back into RL mode.

Having a detox clinic at the hangout would be like holding AA meetings at a bar.

you know you play SL too much when you see yet another of these threads and just wish, once, just once, people would put serious stuff in here, stuff that everyone could relate to

seriously some of these comments are too corny to be believed as "I seriously do that"

count prims in RL, think traffic jams are a sort of lag, cuz well they are

If so then you need to step away from SL and get a grip on reality hehe

Some things we really do do. Somethings we only think about and get a chuckle. Either way, they might be worth posting.

It is just that some ppl put it out there like they actually do these things, which to me are a little far fetched even for a hard core SL junkie to do.

the thought is one thing, yeah we all think of the silly things that we could or would like to carry from SL to RL

I guess one could call it a pet peeve

these threads come up about once a week on average, the same people post the same things, some funny some make one go "huh?"

I guess I am just waiting for some new material LOL
