I was having issues before the downtime, and i am still having them now its back up.
I try and put new hair on and it tells me 'unable to create requested object, please try again' so i darent try and put anything on..thankfully the hair was only a demo so it wont worry me if its gone.. but i hope i havent lost any of my good stuff  _____________________

Me? I liked seeing "All clear" on the blog, trying to log in, an getting a big "closed for maintenance" sign.

I was in when it reopened, then when I bought three items I was charged and lindens taken but no items transferred. Now the whole site is down again yet it says: "[UPDATE 2:25 PM PST] Operations has restored the asset system to full functionality. We’ll announce an ALL CLEAR in world as well."
they really don't know what they are doing. |

was working for me fine.. then as soon as they sent the all clear message.. POOF.. nothing works again
already lost 10,000 textures this week, hope i havent lost them again _____________________

And to think some of the live help as of 1pm sl time today were telling me all was ok it must be my computer. I hate it when my computer messes it up for everyone, SORRY.

I'm doing some building right now. I can rez and shape anything but I can't delete anything. I've got all kinds of trash on laying around my skybox right now. No deletions allowed kinda sounds like a griefers dream.

I had the same problem - just bought hair, tried to wear it, "could not create object, please try again" so after trying again till I got bored, I decided to clear cache and restart. But now it's closed again, or at least not allowing new logins.

[UPDATE 3:35 PM PST] continued problems with asset system functionality. At this time, there continues to be a worrk-in-progress issue with this and should be repaired soon. We will keep you posted as soon as this matter is resolved

Grid is down again for maitenance. Geese that lasted all of 10 Minutes from the announcement it was all fixed to "[UPDATE 3:35 PM PST] continued problems with asset system functionality. I am still in, but functionality is ZERO. I try to change clothes and keep getting 'failed to find clothing named (whatever) in database. I sure hope this doesnt mean it is gone forever!

Seriously, im pretty sure they test it, but its not under a full load and so they cant predict everything. And things often appear fixed when they arent and its like a pressureswitch.. load up the servers with 40k avs and see the little toothpick holding up the world snap _____________________

Any Residents got any theory of why the Lindens say something is "resolved" when it obviously isn't?
I couldn't do much either and was "ruthed" when I jumped off my lab at 600m I kept getting something about a body part not being able to be attached, I got no clue how things are made behind the scenes but I sometimes wonder what broke and why? _____________________
