Oh, and the hot tub? I believe it's out on the porch behind the game room.
The game room is out the door near where the juke box is.
The garden, with its conversation pit and fire, is down either of the stairs OUTSIDE!!!
Near the dock where the ... what, 7? sims of sailable Linden water ... are!
we should use the rest of the property more! somebody hold a sailing class!

From: Brann Georgia I've made the hangout my second home While out exploring, I'll pop in there momentarily to get away from lag, or to see what Claire is wearing, rez something (uh sorry for leaving that box sitting around there so long) or a quick change of wardrobe. A soak in the hot tub is nice, too lol Brann, I have had some brilliant tips from you and Ciela! Why do you think I'm always there? And the hot tub is lovely, but I have yet to see anyone else in it. Same with the garden and docks. Though we did have that great vehicle competition thing there lol. I had fun. Found out i have a detist chair vehicle

From: Allysa Messmer Hi, I find myself lately having a hard time just finding new folks to chat with, or finding places that have legitimate avi's there that are not camping, and will engage in normal conversation. Lets hear from others, where the best places you've found just to hang out and talk, or meet new people. Allysa =^.^= If you are into nature do a inworld search for 'parks', generally not well traveled and a great get away for a couple or small group of friends. If you are into jazz, ballroom check out 'frank's place' If you are into clubbing I had my grand opening of Club Penumbra (industrial/goth/techno music) last weekend and I assure you there are no compers. Also we have themes or/and events almost nightly with prizes from 500L to 1000L. The convo is usually interesting and fun Tonight is Sexy Fantasy Night w/ 500L prize to top male and female. If you looking for any other kinds of places IM me, be happy to give you landmarks to places that I may have.

Selene Castle - find it in Search
02-11-2008 07:53
Selene Castle is a great place for chilling and exploring. We're finishing some development before getting back into full swing... Ballroom, Lovers Temple, Selene Castle itself, Gardens, Grotto, Follies, Archery Range. Restarting Live formal events in the Ballroom and more contemporary events to be hosted out on our castle terrace. http://slurl.com/secondlife/Gavello/165/7/87

I'm rather fond of various coffee houses and tea houses for meeting people and conversation. The Forum Hangout is great, but I've also met a lot of my friends at Open Latte in Mill Pond. There are other coffee houses, of course, but finding people there is more of a crapshoot. Etopia and Etopia Prime are also good; each sim has a coffee house (the one in E-Prime is newly opened) along with small shops and residential areas, and they conduct regular events.

I see that you are neko (*peers at wee pic*). Our sim isn't always busy but it is populated with real people and there's lots to see, explore and fun things to do. It's open to the public. AND, there's a neko shinto shrine and lots of toys. Necros is the name of the sim and you can see my Picks for landmarks.
I also highly suggest Voodoo Island / Tenemos (creator, Zoe Llewellyn), which has neko shops and a neko cuddle area.
Greenies is fun to hang out in because everyone is always enjoying that place and very receptive to chat.
Straylight is stunning, very populated and every conversation I've had there nice.
Hope that helps.

From: MadamG Zagato It depends on what your interests are. I have found that most people hang out in places that reflect their personalities. If you are really into shopping, try some of the big shops. I know I have met quite a few nice people shopping for hair at Gurl 6 which is one of my favorite hair shops. But of course just because you like the same kind of hair doesn't mean you'll have much else in common. (lol) A lot of places that have had interesting people who like to have mature converstation were found purely by accident while exploring. I was exploring a new sim not too long ago and heard voices and found several folks sitting in a large teepee. They were from different countries and all had various accents. I learned a lot about their various countries through the hour or so I spent chatting with them. Sometimes you just have to explore and strike up a converstation or not be too timid to join in on one already in progress (minding manners of course ) ~Maddy And that is how "online affairs" start especially when you don't let everyone your married in real life.

From: Jock Jefferson I would like to the LM for the Fourm Hang Out. Thanks in advance. Just type in 'The Forum Cartel' in the first Search tab. It's the first place to appear. ETA: Oops! He asked this in February. Wonder if he ever found the place...

From: Drivin Sideways I'll go look. I thought that was a card table out there. Go down the hill, toward the water and dock. From clubhouse level the hottub may be hidden by the conversation pit.
