The OP's advice is excellent, and new users would do well to take it to heart. Should we assume that you run an SL "bank" or some other type of investment scheme, or are you just a supporter of fraud in general? Many put substabntial sums of money into WoW and CoH too  Many people also take substantial sums of money out of SL without even logging in, just letting a bunch of bots keep sending them money.

Unfortunately there are a large number of new people coming into SL every day who mistakenly assume that Linden Labs will provide a some kind of policing and law enforcement to protect them in SL. No one at orientation Island is telling these good folks that SL is a lawless place and they can easily get ripped off if they are not careful.
Time to dust off the FAQ that I wrote after a few months here: "Things Linden Labs don't tell you".
