From: Feline Slade Solanghe, one question for you... what's your objective for this event? Is it to celebrate your accomplishment with friends? Is it to drive traffic to your new business? Hi Feline, Well, it's both - to celebrate and drive traffic. I guess I should have mentioned that, but I do want to check out a variety of performers as I am thinking of having occasional live events to promote new performers at some time in the future. Right now I have a small space, intimate, so I am looking more for the kind of performer you would see at Border's or your local coffee shop. *For those who don't know, Border's is a bookstore that has live music on the weekends, usually one singer or a duet.* But I would prefer the music to be fun and uplifting so folks can dance, rather than just listen. Lots of listenin to do.....

I'd like to second the suggestions of Coda Cazalet and Srv4u Connacher. I'll also add Midnight Auer. Anytime I'm looking for a live music event and I see one of those names, I'm done looking. A couple weeks ago, I spent a whole weekend just popping from one live event to another and heard a lot of great artists. Some of the names are escaping me, but I found out about Coda that weekend, so it was worth it.

From: Sally Silvera @P2....... Pillowfish are about as folk as it gets. Very good, but very definitely folk and I wouldn't consider Cylindrian's fabulous tunes exactly party music . If she grnuinely wants dance music, she'd better hire a DJ. P2
