I suggest you run for the hills Walker. It looks like LL has pushed all their problems off on you. What a heavy burden.

1. Fire the LL software maintenance team and replace them with Nicholaz Beresford.
It sounds really tempting to triple that motion, but it's really hard to come by programmers with the skill sets that they need and have gone thru the steep learning curve to learn the ins-and-outs of SL.

At the very least I'd make him the the lead programmer for the programming staff. The guy obviously knows more about their code and especially how it should work in the real world, than they do. Maybe, (that's a big maybe) he can teach them better skills like debugging and testing and how to be efficient at it.

I'd also make sure he had full and final authority to determine what they should be working on, like fixing the bugs and stop playing with windlight and voice - until *after* most (+80%) of the bugs are fixed.

The most sensible post yet .. with Rooke a *very* close second!

I was going to say I'd give all the Lindens a pay rise .. to make up for the cr*p they put up with from us!
