Two things I can think of:
False or repetitive Live chat usage (spamming) Or becoming one of the gold medal winners for the most abusive, arrogant and cursing user. Somehow, I can't see the use of whips and chains as being a reason for banning, since most support people tend toward being masochistic. Or at least from my experience.. _____________________

I had a winner on Live Help last night. The Friday Night rolling restart made lots of no-copy items go poof and not return to my inventory. Just to waste my time I contacted Live Help and said I needed a rolling restart on the mainland sim because the damage they had caused was sim wide. And then the song and dance started.
He constantly contradicted himself ( I do not see any prim decrease before or after the restart in that sim. I see 350 coalesced in your inventory. Maybe the items are there. I only see a prim increase in that sim in the last 24 hours). Screaming at this desk jockey is not going to get my stuff back. I promised the guy that I would send the nonsense conversation to their main office - that is when I watched the entire Liv Help conversation deleted and the call abruptly ended. Luckily I had been copy/pasting the convo into a e-mail while we were talking. I did contact him in-world and say although he deleted the convo logs I got them anyway. He did not respond. I am sure if I had continued to Instant Message him it would have been considered abuse. So I just did what I said I was going to do; send certified letters with copies of the run-around conversation to The People In Charge. I am hopeful enough to believe that someone in this service company will be concerned that their Customer Service department is deleting Live Help logs, giving non-answers and blatantly lying to the customers. Or it's status quo and this guy will get a promotion. Either way, more peopel should take their Live Help chat logs and blog them and send letters to The Powers That Be at Linden Lab complaining about such shoddy service and the waste of money we encounter daily when Linden Lab deletes content we paid real money for from the server. . _____________________

if you get someone on live chat that cannot help you, save the name, then end the chat. come back the next day and try again, and also report the person who was unable to help you, and why.

gotta say, ive contacted live help only twice...and both times was really impressed with the help i received..I got guy Linden on one occasion- he rocked...as did the other guy (are we allowed to name them if they arent a linden?)

I knew that contacting Live Help was a waste of time but there was such massive destruction from the Linden Rolling Restart that I had to say something. I have chat logs from all my dealings with LL in the Parature system, I didn't think they could remove them. Perhaps I should store them elsewhere. _____________________
