That would be perfect! I would only need 4 though. It's modifiable though,so I can't see why I couldn't take the 4 extra off? Thanks Honey!:)*

"whose Taunt Hair Shack is one of the best-known purveyors of hair in Second Life"

I have never heard of Taunt Hair Shack. I am so out of it.

It's actually not a bad book though, like any text on a digital product, it is outdated long before hitting the shelf. That said, I've taken a fair amount of advice from it.

This is what I was doing wrong all this time. I've been banging two coconuts together and dancing about in the pelt of the sacred noob-avatar-foxthingisthatwhatitis?nooneknows ...

All I needed to do was write a book. D'oh!

@Soji. Well if you're out of it so am I. I've never heard of the that either. Doesn't sound like they do flexi hair with a name like that :)

***edit*** TauNt ... not taut. That makes it less funny (and it wasn't very funny in the first place lol). D'OH!

Of the names/stores mentioned, I have only seen the skating one. I've seen that one all over the place, but I've never looked at them, since I have free skates from Abranimations.

Oh and: "Assuming you’re going to start small, get a nice shop space in a good-quality
commercial district that fi ts your target market."

Since when were there "districts" in SL? And right before that they said to avoid setting up your first store in a mall, so they don't mean a mall when they say "commercial district."

The only one I hadn't heard of was the hair one. It might be a handy book for someone new to SL, but if that free chapter is anything to go by, there will be nothing there for someone who has been in SL a while and/or have a bit of business nouse.

Now that I've read it all, that one chapter I mean, I only recognize the skating one and the Azure Islands business.

And I just noticed that the chapter has a September 17, 2007 date stamped on it (12:53 am).

Screw making money. I'm going to write a book about how to be a degenerate playboy in Second Life. It's easier to make money in RL, and more fun to just play and goof off in Second Life. Chapter One - Your Source of Income in Second Life: Visa

Yep You can have a free SL, or you can have a good SL.

The only other way is being a shameless freeloader. This is not a skill I have. I've been told I am a rubbish gold-digger too.

Agreed - When it comes down to it, the money I sink into SL is the best entertainment bang for the buck that you can get anywhere. Dinner and a movie will set you back US$50.00 and last around 5 hours if you really stretch out dinner. $50.00 = around L$13,000. I can have a hell of a lot of fun with L$13,000! Way more than 5 hours worth.

Yep. People spend a lot more on smoking than I do on SL. And I spend enough!

I'd like to cover my tier costs, so far I've been reticient about selling things or charging money. That's going out of the window though, I have some stuff to throw out for purchase quite soon :)

So long as they call it "Love Cheese" then all will be well cos I love cheese!

/me thinks about that again, and grosses myself out. Um ... maybe not such a good name after all.

Enjoy! Either being warped enough to get it, being grossed out or your truly enviable immunity to such things ...
