Tired of having to disable it all the time in the client menu after I've logged in again.

Yeah, it sucks. First thing I do when I log in is disable camera constraints, it's like a ritual at this point. Not having that setting stick is supremely annoying.

Agreed. As a builder, I have to disable camera constraints every time I log in. I am wondering if maybe one of those hundreds of XML files for the UI can be tweaked to fix that?

I think the idea is to protect privacy there. _____________________

Cube Linden has already coded "Quiet Snapshots to Disk" and "Disable Camera Constraints" to persist after you logout, but his changes have yet to hit either beta or official clients. It came up as part of a Jira proposal aimed at making ALL debug settings changes persist. Not sure of the URL but there's enough information there if you'd like to search for it.

Whats the benefit to disable camera constrains? It allows you to move the camera large distances away from the avatar. It's one of those essential things that you do if you build anything larger than clothes. |

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things. Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut. |

Strange how really tiny little tasks when repeated a million times can become soooo tiring. These days, I have to go for a lie down after forcing sunset. ![]() |

First press ctrl+alt+d, then you have the client menu. After that, go client -> disable camera constraints.
Heard some ppl use it for peeping under skirts. ![]() |

My Client window is always there when I log on too.
Lately those Administrative tools have been on the Profiles window…Freeze, UnFreeze, and some others. I was told they were just for Lindens? /me likes the idea of not everyone knowing about Disable Camera Constraints |

HAH, last night while watching a film on TV there was a darker evening scene.... I tried to 'force sun' noon on the remote control. Do I have a problem?
I forgot to put the quote for this response, it was for 2k suisei....but while Im at it...anyone know another way to stop that shooting particle stream that flies out your finger when youre in edit...apart from client....rendering...types....particles. The 'view'...beacons...hide particles doesnt seem to work on this viewer _____________________
