Help! Skin genital area gets buggy....

Help i'm somewhat new and trying to look sexy, so I bought premium skin and a cute outfit. Now when i go poledancing (or sexual positions) my genital area gets dark triangle-like lines that look rather unattractive. Is this a common problem? I've tried other shapes and skins and have a smililar effect. I noticed the lighter the skin the better it looks but the super sexy skins seem to do it the most. HELP! must be sexy! hehe

Try rebaking (Ctr + Alt + R) and anti-aliasing helps if your graphis card can hack it.

Preferences > Graphics > Hardware Options > Antialiasing ( Start at 2x)

There's probably a market for skins that are optimised for bent over avatars.

Trouble is, you might need to stay permanently bent over in order to avoid looking buggy when not bent over.

What they are saying is the underlying structure of your avatar (beneath the skin) has some issues ...

All our Avatars have them.

Thats why you are seeing the problem with skin after skin you have tried.

This is similar to the ugly face shadows and dent in the chest problem.

for the genitals though I think one big part of the problem is they don't use many pixels to cover there (thats why so many panties smear or arent complete between the legs)

The problem will exist until SL updates the Avatars themselves (Avatar Mesh) which it has not done in over 5 years.

Now then one possible thing to try is a prim vagina since they aren't affected by the Avatar mesh. You will have to look carefully though since a lot of the prim ones don't look so good.

You can buy a set of underwear that appears to be the female genitals. I assume this is the reason. But yes an improper shape will wrinkle your avie in odd ways as well. Either way people are used to it by now. Nobody expects that high a level from an avatar really.

After resisting the temptation to comment on bugs and genitals and crabby things...I would suggest also maybe a pubic "underwear" layer-

You can blame the avatar mesh and it's texturing limitations instead of little crabby things

The lazy skinner's solution to this problem is to paint out all detail past the offending polygons. No worries about pixel stretch in a situation like that since all pixels have the same color, but then you are left with practically nothing to define the gender. Most skinners will try to strike a good balance between some detail and no detail in that area, carfully avoiding extreme problem areas that stretch pixels past recognition. There is no way to unstretch a single pixel since it can not be divided. Not a whole lot can be done about that issue without a completely new avatar mesh.

I call for an upgrade to the avatars.. for the good of the stripper and escort industry which keeps SL alive.

I don't think this is a skin problem it's a mesh problem. This is the problem with the mesh where you get these giant triangular deformations on the thighs when you bend your legs. Only LL can fix this one.

We seriously do need a new Mesh.

Even though that means for a lot of us a large amount of work to do - since it would obsolete my entire store product line *AND* a lot of my inventory.

Id rather look good naked , then I can save up to buy all new clothes.

Till then I can live at a nudist colony or something.

Maybe people who look at strippers and poledancers or who use escorts should wear dark glasses?

2. It's meant to be kewl
3. Nobody will recognise them

Oh! And great big blingy wristwatches and jewellery. They would distract attention from the buggy bits.
